Poor Kiyo. In the wild he would naturally distance himself from his group and start his own sonewhere else but here he has no choice but to hide or fight his dad What the zoo is doing here by keeping 2 silverbacks in the same space is absolutely wrong

Not stupid, when they reject them and they come back to troupe she doesn’t recognize her as her daughter but they do know their related they can tell by shape of nostrils.

Nene is alive. I saw a photo of her on the Japanese Zoo website. IT was all in Japanese so I could not understand the words. Also a few days back I heard Nene climbed into her hanging hammock. and was sleeping. Nene likes the hammock and the fact that she was able to climb into it is a good sign or her mobility. She is more mobile and eating according to the Japanese zoo
