In this day and age people blame the parents, especially single parents for a child's upbringing. Her daughter isn’t just scared of her she is terrified. The fact she felt safer on national television versus at home is a problem. You can see that through the abuse on here. I do believe that she loves her daughter and vice versa but that generation of mothers growing up did a lot of teaching and parenting through abuse and physical harm. I was raised the same way. I never felt comfortable coming to my mother about anything. I was even scared to let her know I started my menstrual. The sh*t is traumatizing and mentally messes you up and draining. I feel so sorry for Candace having a mother so violent. Candace was so scared of her mum and you can sure as hell imagine how bad it would've got if it was outside of the studio. Noone should ever feel fearful of a parent, family member or anything. The mum saying that Candace can tell her anything....yeah right and cop that kinda treatment. Poor Candace was hiding behind the dudes for protection...that's some f*cked up sh*t on the mums part. As for Candace she is young and tried to earn cash and she learnt from it. We all make mistakes and people will either learn from it or continue it. I praise Candace so much for trying to earn the money she really wanted so much. If Candace asked for the money from her mum i really doubt the mum would've gave it to her. You can definitely see that Candace has been abused as a child and growing as you can see Candace knew she needed to bolt, she knew she needed some protection in order to tell her mum this.
