And the mom said “I hate the person she’s become” honey, you literally created this person from what I heard. I can’t even finish this episode. Jerry fed into this as well. @@Baalzz302your parents might have been abused by their parents too and lack empathy or compassion. Ignore their mean words, you are way more educated than them. You are important and you have value. Don’t worry if your parents are not able to understand you. Sometimes we have to be stronger to understand everything around us. I grew up in a strict JW family, I have many traumas, dealt with svicide attempts, my parents have been mean and neglectful, I grew up with no money and no hot water many times, one day I left home and started working. Unfortunately I had more traumas growing up because I hanged out with bad people, nowadays I forgave my parents but we are very different individuals. Never let mean words affect you, hurt people say hurtful things. Some of us who suffer but have more emotional intelligence wouldn’t hurt someone else on purpose, but unfortunately not everyone is the same. Be strong dear and I hope you do well in life. There’s a lot of unnecessary bs coming from the audience. She’s a kid here and blaming a kid who thinks they’re an adult just makes it worse. If you have kids you’re a parent for life. You’re not just a parent until your kid turns 18. You brought a life into the world and at any point that life could start moving astray and as a parent the unconditional love and effort helps the kid realise their own mistakes. Whether she was 16 or 30 and blaming mom. Her blood should have not let her feel that way…

halfway through the video there was a female audience member who said “you cant blame other people, you keep bringing up the fact that you were raped at 5, this at 12. you have to take responsibility for yourself” & it absolutely sickened me. when you’re sexually abused as a young child, it effects the way you operate as a young adult. it effects the way you talk to people, effects how many people you let in, makes it harder for you to communicate, & can even effect your temper. yeah its not good to blame everything on everyone else, but she was a child & i guarantee that her being sexually abused during her childhood along w her mother kicking her out plays a big factor in the drug use & the dislike she seems to have for her family.

@brandyjohnson6995

I saw that. It's like she gets jealous of her older sister an mother trying to START a healthy bond. It's like resentment. On top of that I really truly think an believe those small achievements need to be recognized because to Samantha her entire life she was clearly told that nothing was good enough more or less. That little bit of "Sam that's amazing ur going to church an that u TRIED to make it Bible study last Thursday" goes a long long way an gives her that motivation. She's 16 jeez when I was 16 my mother sent me to placement an 17 I was sent to foster care. I see this as is. The mother kept saying she was getting real tired of this this an that an would roll her eyes as if she was embarrassed she got caught. I truly believe that those friends of Sam's either did see her take drugs or did drugs with her. If u see, the mother ONLY said she was really tired of this this an that when she was "called out" she was embarrassed. Sam clearly has Severe ptsd an the only way she thinks she knows how to cope is drugs an drinking as many on this planet do. I truly hope Sam got some help an that sister realized she needs to stop being jealous at the end of the day they are sisters an they have the same mom. On the other subject of having ur mom as ur best friend. Ok thats cool an all but what are u gonna do when ur mom dies an that's ur so call best friend? I'll tell u what ur gonna cope anyways u can with whatever u can an since u didn't try an build that friendship circle ur gonna be alone an not have a bond with ur sister since the resentment is there an u never made friends due to the amxiety of being left an yr mom consoling u, u will have to do it alone. I know this bc my Fiances best friend was his mom an she passed due to lung cancer in 2020. An he drank an drank an he's finally getting out of rehab soon. So I don't think anyone really realized how much of a cluster fudge this entire family was.

@@tatinightmare I don't think so there is am age gap between these two an if u can see the younger one is always trying to get moms attention due to Sam always being troubled an that can take a toll an resentment towards Sam. Jenny Jones followed Sally in doing the same thing around late 97 / early 98. I think it is more dangerous for the daughter to be around her mum, than it is for her to be around drugs, it is a pretty messed up thing to say, but the toxicity between them is festering and resentment, spite, and hatred are rapidly coming to the surface, and it is going to come to a head, and I personally think that one of them is going to kill the other.

I do not seem to understand why the people in the crowd are fully blaming the daughter for who she is now. That one lady after the Black woman was slightly correct, although she did not input the fact that Samantha's decisions are influenced. Samantha is still at her development stage, meaning that all the factors from when she was a child are still having an influence in her mind. Mother- The mother does not care for Samantha as she gave up after realizing that having other people take care of her daughter was too much money. Instead of finding all the ways to handle Sam's behavior herself, she basically flung her at some random people in an attempt to not have to actively do anything. The mother herself did drugs in front of her, showed rude behavior directed towards HER CHILD, and continuously put the blame on her while ignoring what she had to do with it. Then the mother brought in more people to argue and go against her 16 year old daughter. Daughter- Although Samantha has made some bad decisions in the past and still is, no one can fully blame her for who she is. She is the result of her own mothers influence and the surrounding area she lived in. If her mother were to have lived in a more kid-friendly area, there would have been less of a chance for Samantha to interact with the "wrong crowd". If the mother had just pulled her away from the environment and continuously treated her with respect and love, Samantha's behavior would not have been the way it is now. Samantha is presenting such a strong front as she provides reason for her rude attitude towards her mother. I feel sorry that she is still being treated as an adult by someone who claims to have love for her. Friends- I think the friends of Samantha are actually doing the best they can. That man has no authority over Samantha and her decisions, but if he were to at least be there to monitor her, he would keep her safe. I love how he takes care of her the best he can with the power he has. I also believe that the people claiming he is a bad friend do not realized that they don't know Sam and her behavior outside of being defensive. Overall, although Samantha's mind has developed enough to understand right and wrong, she is the product of her own environment; external and internal. I fully blame the mother for her choice of environment to have her children, her inability to try to change her daughter herself, Her influence in Sams decision to do drugs, and her influence in Sam's behavior. Note: Sam did drugs while she was younger which was introduced and provided by her own mother. That completely ruined her development so putting the blame on her would be physiologically impossible. Thank you for reading :)
