Andrei, tell your Mom she's doing a great job cooking these Filipino dishes. By the way, the pork dish your Mom cooked I called Lauya instead of Bulalo. Bulalo is made of beef shanks. Wheen cooking Lauya, boil it with lots of garlic and pepper corns also add potatoes and cabbage and of course salt to taste. You can use both fresh garlic and powdered garlic. Bon appetit.
