Electrocuted! 😂 No. You are perennially beautiful Ami, whatever crowns your head 💃 What delighted me most about this video was how vulnerable and trusting you were with your kids. I’m untrained but have been cutting my parents’ hair (poor other victims too) for maybe 35 years (parents now in their 90s) and nails for maybe 10 years. (Toes - ugh - but necessary for their comfort.) The trust they display when I wield scissors to either end brings me fear but also joy. 😊 Someday your kids (not just the females, hint hint) will tend to these personal matters for you and it’s great they start to understand now what caregiving means to both giver and receiver. 🌹

I love how this was all done with the family and teaching your daughters self acceptance. As a female it can be emotional dealing with hair loss but on the bright side of things we have the option to purchase wigs and change up our hairstyles.

I said it once, I'll say it again, "Ami, you rock no hair far better than you rock hair!" You love to wear different hair styles and that's your prerogative. You're blessed to have a beautifully shaped head and a beautiful bone structure. It's also wonderful to get the girls involved at an early age, it will have a lasting impact on how they view beauty both now and later in life. Blessings to the always loved Mcclure fam. ❤😇

Ami. Thank you so much for being honest and open amount your hair struggles and teaching your girls that hair really isn't so important. We live in a society where we're teaching the younger generation about what's on the outside instead of teaching them that what's on the inside is really more important. You are really pretty with the short natural hair. 😍

My mom has let me and my sister cut her hair off when it was damaged. I think it was good for us to see and do. Neither my sister or I are attached to our hair. We’re ok with cutting it or growing it out. The lesson was definitely understood.

Thank you for addressing this, too long have we been told that hair means beauty - so not true. There are many individuals women and men that may have an autoimmune disease that can cause it, Pcos, RA just to name a few, and they may not even know that they may have a hormonal or autoimmune disease, but growing up for some or most of us were thought that without hair we are no longer considered beautiful. thank you for sharing !!

Good job girls 🌟🌟. Ami I think it’s admirable of you to take the time to teach the girls this most valuable lesson. Females are often in such mental conflict regarding our hair. I had stage 4 breast cancer a few years ago. I knew that I would lose my hair completely but I was devastated about how quickly I lost it. I was ashamed and embarrassed to myself. Others complimented me about how beautiful my skin became and how lovely I looked being bald but none of it mattered to me until after the fact. When my hair came back it was longer, stronger and much more beautiful than before. I would have felt much better if I had a better attitude about my hair to begin with. So this was an awesome lesson Ami. What days and times do you go live? I’ve caught you a couple of times but usually towards the end. I really enjoyed it so if you have a schedule of times or a notification please let me know. ❤️❤️💖💜🦢🦢🦢🦢

Jada had a face lift and her scar stopped hair from growing there. Alopecia always involves circular patches of hair loss, not linear like her face lift scar. Honesty goes a long way. You are doing it right. Being open and authentic with your hair loss and talking with your girls about it is spot on amazing mom stuff.

I applaud you for letting your family cut your hair and im sorry that you have a medical issue that lead to you getting your hair cut. You are a beautiful lady with or without your hair. Im just curious and wondered if it would have made it easier if you washed your hair and used some kind od detangler and combed it out before the girls started cutting it. You didnt say if you had done that. I know from experience that its not easy to take care of thick hair like that. Cant wait to se your other videos. Your husbabd and the twins did a goid job
