Towels use vinegar as your softener in with your washing pacs or liquid. It takes smells out of towels and makes them super soft! Found this years ago and still use it. Really smelly clothes it works on also. It doesn’t have a vinegar smell either.

Hey Melinda , my favourite drink at the moment is Coke Zero ,it’s only my hubby and I in the house now so we don’t have as much laundry and we use our bath sheets twice ,once we have use it we hang it on a radiator it’s fine because you come out the shower clean . Hugs Katie 🩷🦋🩷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Oh my gosh haha I can 1000% relate to the laundry.. I don't have kids, but my partner goes for a run or the gym, then from working outside, multiple changes of clothes throughout the day/week.. it's like a never-ending pile.. we definitely re-use out towels a few days in a row otherwise laundry would be my full time job.. I personally either hang-up the towels somewhere dry or outside depending on the weather. You're doing an awesome job!! Have been watching your cleaning vids for a while. All we can do is out best :)

Hi Melina so glad your back I’ve missed you! So with our towels when they are just wet we hang them on a towel heater so that the next time we use them they are dry. Obviously though I wash them twice a week however if I have got tan on them or they have been used more than usual I will wash them! Life is too short to be washing towels everyday! Dx

If you can hang the towels to dry (no tumble drying) and don’t use any fabric softener. They are so much more absorbent and to me stay cleaner longer

Hi how do you have so much energy and motivation to clean and keep up with your home? I work part time and when I get home with my daughters 8 and 10 years old I dont have the energy and motivation to clean or do anything. I’m just so always tired

Hi Melina! So happy to see you post on KZbin as you’re one of my favorites! Hope all is well with you! As for laundry, I love using white vinegar to help with musty odors and it really helps with the softening of my towels. I don’t use any fabric softeners nor scent beads as I have sensitive skin and they tend to leave a residue on fabric. Also I love using 12 Mules Borax as well as regular baking soda to help freshen and clean laundry too! Hope those help! P.s. I love Waterloo sparkling flavored waters. They’re so refreshing and no added sugar, which is a definite bonus in my book!

Hi Melina , you could try tumble drying your towels for 10 mins after use, heat will remove bacteria, plus they will be refreshed. Might help. Alternatively, we hang up on an airier to fully dry overnight. We do this for 2-3 uses to save on energy and current price hikes.

I use dawn also to clean my counter top but I don't use as much as you do. I just put a very little amount on a towel and it works beautifully.

I grew up using Dawn on countertops. My mom had always used it. I also use a little on a towel with hot water and it does the trick! Cuts down the need for multipurpose spray. ☺️

Ok. I've got the secret to fresh towels. My husband is a very serious triathlete. He goes through a lot of clothes that get very nasty especially when he swims in river water. If you put a couple of swirls of Dawn dish soap in the washer before you add your clothes (use all of your regular products as well) your clothes will come out much cleaner. It also keeps your washing machine clean too. I have also noticed that the more smelley good stuff you put in the laundry will coat your clothing with chemicals that attract and trap dirt in the fibers causing the need to launder sooner. So in summary, add Dawn dish soap to your laundry and skip the fragrance.
