I did the same thing when my kids were young too. They are now responsible adults and they clean their house is always spotless, so let them be young because there’s nothing wrong with that. Love your videos your a great mom!!!

Our 11 yo is definitely not capable of deep cleaning her own room. 😅 She can tidy it, but I usually go in and do a deep clean every now and again. Nothing wrong with that!

Honey, my 35 year old son come home for a few months after a marriage break up and I was going into his room to change sheets and vaccum, so the mothering never ends. I actually miss it now that he's left again. Enjoy it while you can. ❤

Hi Gaines! You are a sweetheart. Melina I had 4 boys and a girl & they were also responsible for keeping their rooms clean, but like your boys they had extracurricular activities, school, homework & others things going on. Like you I would go in & do a deep clean once in a while. You are so right about them growing up & missing the messes after they are grown & moved out. My kids are now in their 30’s & 40’s & have families of their own. Now I always look forward to the grandkids coming over & getting to clean their messes. You are a wonderful Mom & your boys are so blessed to have you.

Melina, I totally agree with you about the kids rooms. And I still go in maybe once every couple of weeks and give it a Mama's touch. They just don't clean as well as we do uet. They are kids. And I definitely don't want them living in yuck! And it is so important to keep all bedding and pillows clean!

I did the same thing when my kids were younger and as they got older. As a mom of 3 adults, yes I do miss cleaning up their rooms, laundry etc. They grow up so fast, enjoy this time. As always, thanks for another great video!

In my honest opinion is that you shouldn't have to justify why you clean your children's rooms. Should kids have chores....yes, but they are also just kids.
