Ants also hate peppermint oil, you could diffuse and also mix 10-20 drops of peppermint oil with 2 cups of water and put in a spray bottle and spray all around!! Hope that helps!!

I admire your motivation to clean during nap time, I have the hardest time getting up and moving because I use the excuse “if baby is napping, that’s my free time” but then I kick myself later because it’s so much harder to clean when a baby is running around 😂
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
As much as I want to sit down and relax during naptime, I know that if I don't take care of the things while he's sleeping, then they will be much harder to get done when he is awake and more of a mess later.

It would be more economical to get a spray mop with a removable head and you can put whatever cleaner you want in it, and just wash the mop heads when they are dirty. Good video.
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
I had one that I just got rid of because I didn't like it. I have to mop more than once a day and the mop heads were always dirty when I needed them. My floors are almost constantly dirty having 3 kids 5 and under. The swiffer disposable pads are much more ideal for a mom of multiple little ones.

I would love to know how you set up/schedule tv time and no tv time. We’re struggling with our little one wanting to watch tv and videos all the time…his birth mom lets him watch tv 24/7 but when he’s with his dad and I we don’t agree with that but we’re struggling to make a schedule of sorts!
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
You'll have to have fun/entertaining ways to distract from wanting TV. If kids are bored, they'll want TV. We turn it on in the mornings for a little while and then off until I'm cooking dinner when I'll turn a movie on. They get tablet time when they first wake up in the mornings and quiet time is tablet time and anytime we're in the car. Basically electronic time is in the mornings for a few hrs, quiet time for an hour and evenings while I cook dinner.

As always awesome video content love you Marie you're the best Dawn is the best for ants I use that I called an exterminator out and I'll begin with your little Bates and they help for a little bit but not that long you might have better luck than me I to use the method grapefruit I use it all year round I love the smell of it God bless you your family have a great rest of the week ❤️

I looked up on Google how to get rid of ants kid friendly DIYS you can use vinegar, baking soda or sodium bicarbonate, essential oils, bay leaves. I wouldn't use baits or sprays since you have little kids. I hate fruit Flys. During rhe summer I get them so I mix dish soap and apple cider vinegar and put around my kitchen sink and fruit. Also I use a trap that you hang from the ceiling close by the doors so bugs will get caught on that.

Ants are so hard to get rid of. We had an ant problem a couple of years ago and they would be attracted by the tiniest thing 😣 we had to keep things spotless! My kids throw all of our blankets on the floor too. I feel like I’m washing them 24/7 bc of it 🥴
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
It's challenging to keep it spotless with multiple little kids, but I'm trying. It'll be worth it to have an exterminator take care of them.

Have you tried spraying the outside of the house with any killer? We have to do this every spring. We used to get ants bad so we try to get ahead of it now and if we spray the outside soon enough we usually won’t see many in the house.
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
Yes we do but they still come in.
@annar8232 Жыл бұрын
We get ants as well!! Older homes are bad for that unfortunately BUT before you hire an exterminator try buying some bug spray called Home Defense! It’s in like a gallon sized jug with a red sprayer. It’s basically the same thing that an exterminator will use. Make sure it says for ants!!Spray it outside your house on all door frames, window frames and along the bottom of your house. Then get your kids out of the house for a few hours and spray inside on the window frames, door frame and anywhere you think they might be coming in! Then get the liquid ant bait in a bottle, not the kind already in the trap and put it where the ants are for a few days to get all the ants you just trapped inside your house lol The trick is to make sure you get a good solid line of the spray anywhere ants can get in. They are smart they will find the holes lol the spray will leave a residue which drives me crazy but leave it alone for as long as you can and then when you do clean in the areas where you sprayed try to leave as much of the spray as you can. It also helps sometimes to spray the outside again after big rains. The rain pushes the ants out of the ground and washed the spray off. Hope this helps and saves you some money!!
@MarieLoveAsbury Жыл бұрын
Oh yes we use that home defense! It deters the ants for the most part but they come in through random cracks in the home. They are in the walls.
@annar8232 Жыл бұрын
