Alicia - it makes me so nervous when you use the top of the stove as a shelf (place to put things). I had a family member have a pretty significant kitchen fire from this very same thing. They had items on the burners and one burner got turned on in error and it was very scary. Kitchen fires can spread pretty quickly. I know it’s an easy place to throw things when you are in a rush but I would really hate for you and your family to go through what they did. The kitchen was destroyed and the house had significant smoke damage. Just my two cents. Hugs and love your videos.

When you get that low on mayo you can use a Longer spatula or make a Ranch dressing from it. Just trying to help you $ go further. Talk to Nana and I'm sure she has some ideas to use it for. There are mayo additions to muffins, cakes, etc. Chocolate cakes and muffins are amazing with mayo. It has eggs and oil in it.

Why do you keep throwing the egg shells and veggie scraps in the trash? Compost them or give them back to the chickens. You need a designated kitchen scrap bucket kept in the kitchen just for the chickens. Chickens are Omnivores and will eat everything. What they don't eat will just compost down in there run and bring the worms up from the ground for them to scratch and dig around for.

She has explained that her chickens do not like egg shells, so that is why she throws them away.

Giving the chickens eggshells are a bad idea. They can start to break open the eggs they lay and eat them. My father in law tried it and that's what happened. It ruined the chickens.

@@latoyannI wash and bake all our eggshells. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 mins. Once they are dried from baking, we grind them into a powder. Some gets given to the girls in there free choice oyster shell dish and the rest gets sprinkled on the veggie beds or the compost heaps
