Loved seeing all the kids together. For Andrea’s birthday perhaps take the family to an indoor trampoline park, bowling, or kids arcades. Another idea is a petting zoo/farm since the kids seem to like animals. Go to a dog shelter & help walk the dogs?? An “all you can eat buffet” ?? I can’t believe how fast the kids are growing. I first started watching when Edie was just a little baby🥹

Boy mom here with an 8 year old son with an August birthday. I agree that bday parties can be exhausting! Especially in summer when many friends are away on holidays. As an alternative I like to have my son pick one friend to take to an amusement park, we have a few in the area. I cover the friends ticket and food for the day. Lego sets of an animal or cartoon they like are always a hit!

My boys love a night stay in a hotel , and a yes day , and that usually involves, fav food , trip to smyths , swimming , adventure play etc , he also gets so overwhelmed with parties, so I usually do a little tea party with our little neighbours and a cake . Then we book a night away and have a ball .

I think Chessington sounds like a good shout, I only just started doing parties for my two younger kids (age 6 and 9) from last year, we moved from London to Lincolnshire and so parties are a lot more affordable here. My older two (age 11 and 13) have always spent their birthdays abroad because we always go away in December. My son and daughter had a joint party at the local soft play and wall climbing and had the best time. Perhaps a flip out day or a wall climbing couple of hours that all 4 can join in on and then head out for dinner with the family.

I'm a boy mom to 3. My oldest is Emelia's age. Infact, i found you when we were both pregnant. I found out we were both due with our firsts, in September. And my name is also Anna. ☺️ My boys are 11, 9 and 7. My advice is to give them lots of PHYSICAL activities. Also, i still don't quite understand it, but they love to destroy things and generally just create chaos. Lol They love video games, the outdoors, science experiments, robotics, building stuff. They're nuts, and make me want to pull my hair out sometimes.. But my goodness can they be SO sweet. ❤️

I am a boy mom over here, an 8 yeah old and a 11 month old! My older son just always had smaller parties with a couple of close family friends. We would BBQ and have cupcakes. Two years ago his Nana rented a bounce house and that was so much fun, even for us adults, I was 5 months pregnant at the time mind you. LOL He was very much into Paw Patrol and Super Wings when he was younger, and dinosaurs but now the last couple of years its been his tablet and video games and books. He loved the Magic Tree House Serious of books. Im starting this all over over again with my baby who turns 1 in three weeks So i need new ideas too. LOL

I left a comment on jonathans video saying that you mentioned Dre wanted a playstation for his birthday.I thought maybe you could get him a playstation portal handheld that uses wifi to jonathans playstation.jonathan has mentioned in previous videos he has a playstation.You do have to keep the playstation on to be able to use the portal .But its much cheaper then the playstation and I think fun being a handheld just a idea.Basically whatever is showing on the tv linked to the playstation will show on the playstation portal.Dre can then play the playstation in any room in your house.But maybe he has his heart set on a whole game console/You can get them at amazon but out of stock sometimes very sell them argos and many other places as well.

Love these types of videos. I can relate, we stopped throwing big parties for awhile now because things r just not the same anymore. Also, things have just gotten really expensive. So what we do each year for each of our kids, we cut a bday cake, sing happy bday, just spend time together as a family n with family. N we will just do what they want to do besides just getting them gifts. My boys like going to the arcade or just doing anything really fun. They r still small so as long as they r happy we r happy.
