Quick rundown, Jelly was raised in Anitoch Tennessee. He was in and out of trouble his whole childhood, selling drugs fighting ect. At 15 he caught a charge and he was tried as an adult so he went to prison at 17 for 2 yrs. While he was in, he found out he was going to be a father and decided he had to get right. He went all in on music. He entered a freestyle contest right after he got out and won so he kept it up. Started selling mixtapes and the rest is history.

It’s interesting to see the the description of the point the prodigal son went to, Luke 15:16 [16] And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.” Sin is filthy and we are all sinners(Romans 3:23). The bigger problem is that God is a holy God and hates sin. We can’t do anything enough to escape His judgement but He Himself made a way for us to be saved and that’s through His Son Jesus. Jesus came; lived perfectly; died on the cross; was buried and rose again three days later. Only and ONLY if we repent and believe in that Gospel(good news) can we be saved.
