I'm glad someone else has this experience with their mother. My mom is always sending me country pop songs and I must like one out of every 50. Meanwhile, I'm accused of having pretentious hipster taste. Although my mom says the f word like twice a sentence and your mom won't even say water 🤣🤣

hard agree with everything you (dave) said about benson boone. i will say he’s a pretty incredible singer (technically, though his vocal choices are definitely strange at times) but his music itself ends up being way too surface-level in it’s aim for mass appeal and is just far too generic for my taste also hi yep im going to continue commenting throughout as i watch the vid
