My father would reprimand me and my brother even when we hadn’t done anything wrong, and we often wondered why he was so hard on us. We sided more with our mother, who was lenient and gave us passes. Now at 30, I realize that my father actually saved my life and shaped me into a well-mannered man. I love my father for that; his military-like discipline paid off for both me and my older brother.

I was the disciplinarian in our home. I came from a military family. My dad was very abusive. I didn't abuse my children. However, I was very strict with them. My oldest son doesn't have much to do with me. However, my youngest does. He says I didn't show a difference between either one, and I'd whip both, not just one. My husband was one who would say things over and over. I told you twice, and then it was a spanking.

From what i could tell, the boy had already been talking to the cops before this video as he referred to a prior conversation so the mom obviously knew he had already let the cat out of the bag. Maybe she wanted him to answer for his part. I don’t know them or their life so making a full judgement on this video alone isn’t sufficient- the kid seems to be saying that he assisted (I’m only have way through the vid to be fair) that he felt pressured to assist or his life could be forfeit (and he already had family ie. the uncle that was going to be in on it after the fact) I’m going to agree that the kid was effed from the start

Ur exactly right, but neither is his mother, sitting right next to him. There's a reason a parent/guardian has to be present when someone under 18 is interrogated, and it's not the fault of the state she's oblivious to the real world, smoothbrain lobotomite. I've watched countless interrogations, and many trials (via lawyers I watch) and I have never seen _anyone_ this dumb😮
