The whole satyr thing is a play on status in Greek mythology in that mythology in some version satyrs pray on women and force them to fall in love essentially he doesn’t want to do that in this video, a satyr loved a human girl, but no matter how much he tried he can’t get close to her because he doesn’t want her to lose her free will or her, so he is forced to watch her be made happy by someone else the second one is pretty self-explanatory a guy wants a relationship that is going to last he is talking to his ex in the song, so he's telling her goodbye
