@@blacknbougie8021 I feel like CPS is becoming like a huge criminal organization cause it’s crazy how they lose kids chat locate these kids n so much more while the kids are supposed to be in their custody. I don’t trust CPS at all. They got some good people no doubt but some are terrible n only working for CPS so they can have access to kids. I watched few videos n saw news of how some CPS employees got caught hurting these kids n abusing them n doing absolutely terrible things. CPS can’t be trusted. I believe nobody is perfect and no system is perfect and I don’t expect CPS to be perfect but god how can they be so damn terrible? It’s their jobs to protect these kids n keep them safe n sadly so many of these kids end up in worse situations with CPS then they were before. They need to fire so many ppl n need to do way better job at checking on who they hire n why to work with there n be near kids. They made me lose all trust in them Long time ago. Yea it sounds like the toddler’s “bad behavior” was a result of normal child behavior and a lack of parenting. I have a child the same age and could be called “cheeky,” is strong willed and independent. Those traits can be a good thing, as long as there is a parent who cares enough to correct and guide the child. Animals take better care of their babies. And what would it take to at least throw your trash in the garbage can? The state of that house is a form of child abuse in my opinion. Freaking worthless excuse for a mother. I’m from Wales and just wanted to add that ‘Flying Start’ is such a helpful resource. Any child (whether their parents work or not) can attend for 2 ½ hours every weekday, following their 2nd birthday and they offer a lot of services; speech & language, behaviour techniques, hygiene, parenting programmes and just general help/support & advice. I chose to enrol my son because he was born severely premature (29 weeks) and he was and still is an only child. It’s sad that Sinead didn’t take the opportunity to use a services that most cannot access 😔

I just realised that Lola was born 30th September 2017 just 3 days before my son on 3rd October 2017. And Flying Start did cease all sessions during the pandemic. My son is 6 ½ now, and thriving; as should Lola be 🥺 Stories like these are the reason I’ve stayed single for 7 years since my pregnancy; I trust nobody. Meanwhile his ‘dad’ is into his 4th or 5th relationship and couldn’t understand why I was upset that he chose to introduce his new partner to our child after just 3 weeks 🤨 your child’s safety has to be paramount or you’re just a bad parent.

My mom was single from the day my dad left (I was 5) until she passed away (when I was 20) .. I'd always known her to say she wouldn't want to go out with anyone until I (the youngest) was old enough to know what's what. She protected us at the 'cost' of her own 'happiness' although she would always tell us she was happy just having her children around her 🥰

@@rabbitsonjupiter6824 Thank you for taking the time to say so, that's very much appreciated 😊 ... Yes,.. She truly was Amazing! .. the epitome of the word "Mother".. she reminded me of a mother hen with her wings open, ready to wrap around to us to snuggle in for safety, comfort and warmth. It's heartbreaking for me that sadly my children never got to have the experience of having her in their lives .. I hope that I can fill a part of the void she left behind to give them an idea of how/who she was. If I could be just half of the lady/mother she was; I'd be content 🙂

@@rabbitsonjupiter6824 Thank you, I appreciate you taking your time to respond with your very kind comments. You're absolutely right, when we are small, we kinda do take things for granted. I know I did. I never gave a thought to losing my Mother.. it just wasn't in my thoughts. I guess I took it for granted that she would be around longer than she was. It certainly gives me food for thought when I'm spending time with my family,.. I don't verbalize it because I don't want to be morbid but I want to be sure to make memories so they have some things to look back on when I'm no longer around. 💕

When will mothers of young children, and fathers too, realize that your primary responsibility is to your children, no matter how much you long for a partner? This happens far too much to not know the dangers of bringing a stranger into your home with your kids. It even happened to a friend of mine who caught her new husband taking photos of her Seven-yr. old in the shower. Please WISE UP.

How many times did Lola cry out for her mother I wonder? How many times did her mother hear or see something and just ignore it? mothers and fathers who allow a relationship to come in between the safety of your child you no longer deserve to be called a parent. You’re not a parent you’re not a mom you’re not a dad you are a matter fact I think you’re worse because you’re allowing it that is unacceptable, I have a two year-old grandson who is on 124 seven he gets into more than my other grandson. He breaks more he smashes more he spills more. He throws more he more but he doesn’t get punished anymore than the other. He doesn’t get spankings and beatings and starved and cold showers, he doesn’t lose his bed. He doesn’t have to sleep in a closet on the floor. He doesn’t get tied up. He doesn’t get beat with objects. He isn’t starved. I just don’t know what to say about these cases. I just don’t know what to say.

I am not sure why these young moms think that it is ok to meet a man, move in with them and allow them to be alone with a child unable to express themselves, all wishing a week or two. I was divorced and became a single mom right before I gave birth to my third child and there is no way I would allow anyone, male or female, that I had just met in the last month near my children. My heart aches for these children.

It's because our society places too much emphasis on being in a relationship and treats you like a pariah if you're single. I cannot tell you how many times my own mother has said derogatory things about me and two of my cousins (one male and one female) because we are still single and not with anyone. She once asked me to my face if there was something wrong with my male cousin because he hasn't had a girlfriend and hasn't had sex. We as a society need to do better and erase the stigma that there's something wrong with you if you're single and you *need* to be in a relationship.

@@LokiMartin you are so right. It is the same if you have a relationship, have a child, then get out of that relationship for some reason. I think, even in this new age, that people think you have to be in a relationship if there is a child, regardless of how you feel. I am so sorry that you have felt the hard push to be in a relationship. This should be something that you can relax about.

@@rhondanewman3849 You're right as well. When I was very young, my parents separated and so many people pressured my mom to get a divorce and start dating again. She eventually started dating again and met a "nice" man. Things were okay for a little while, until one night when we were eating dinner. I refused to eat my peas. The guy got up, forced my mouth open and started trying to shovel the peas into my mouth. My mom got up out of her chair, tore me away from him and left the house. She later went back with my Uncle to get our belongings. I'm so grateful to this day that she didn't just decide to stay with the man because who knows what could have happened.
