As you know, we try to give back often to charities. For my birthday this year, I'd like to make a donation to one that works directly with victims and their families. I have a couple in mind, but do you have any you can suggest to me that might not be on my radar? Leave some suggestions below and I can start looking into them. If you're in the states celebrating, please be safe tomorrow during the 4th! ❤Drewby + Yergy Discord: discord.gg/kCCzjZM

This what I came here to say. Prison justice is true.
@alicemalice10474 ай бұрын
As someone who has firsthand experience with multiple prisons, no, prison justice is not a thing. It is not how you guys see it on movies and television shows. People aren't just sitting there waiting around to murder someone who did bad shit. You forget that they don't put these people with good guys. The people they're put with are other, horrible horrible people. People in prison only get beat up due to gang wars, stealing, and debts. They rarely give a fuck about their prior convictions.
@TheCrabLord_4 ай бұрын
A lot more common in men's prisons than women's prisons. Apparently many women in the higher security prisons are in for crimes against their own children. Depending on which prison as well with men's prisons there may or may not be prison justice, some have unofficial codes such as "no women no children" meaning if they find out you committed a crime against women or children you are shunned or assaulted by the rest of the prison population. I don't know if it is as common these days as they now will at times keep those who have committed crimes like that out of general population to avoid potential in fighting or making the job harder for those working at the prisons. But I wouldn't be surprised if more effort was put into keeping these POS safe in prison than was ever done for Tesslyn. This is just information I have from people who have been to prison, usually depends on the prison is my understanding.

I was a teacher at a local middle school so many years ago. I had a student who was being abused. I don't know the extent, but I KNEW the child was being abused (13 years old). I talked to my fellow teachers, and I complained and I notified the police. For my efforts, I was ignored, ostracized, and laughed at by my fellow teachers, they made a joke of the whole thing. I never knew what the exact circumstances were, but eventually the abuse was recognized by somebody, and the child removed. All my suspicious were correct. I pray and hope I made that child's life a bit better in the end. That was back in the bad old days, when SA and CA were not recognized. Thank you for your work, to bring awareness to the world. It must emotionally be so hard for you sometimes. But thanks. This goes on so much more than we want to recognize. So thank you for the work to spread awareness. That is all.

Everyone stinks & nobody is doing anything about it. Weed was legalized to stop that particular demographic from acquiring criminal charges before graduating highschool. Now even younger children smoke it probably do disgusting things to get access to it to add to the dope hit. I was raised by a m*th addicted mother, and i thank god i got out of that without lasting scars (at least physical). She wasnt much of a mother, but she did her best to keep creeps and freaks away from her kids, and im thankful to her for that. Many of the children in her social circle werent so lucky, and ended up neglected and abused, and many were taken away and sadly given to other abusers. The Iowa DHS is a complete joke, just like many other states' equivalent departments. We have got to be providing resources to people BEFORE they become parents. And we need to be WATCHING and LISTENING to the children in our neighborhoods, in all cases, even when drugs arent involved. Every child is Everyone's child.
@sciencenotsrigma4 ай бұрын
❤. Thank you so much! I was removed to foster care, and a couple of the placements were terribly abusive. Many were neglectful, especially since I had special needs that were ignored, demonized, or made fun of. I knew so many kids who said the same thing. I didn’t receive any college benefits from being in the system, in case anyone thinks we have it made. There was a lot of substance use disorder in my family. My dad was addicted, but he was one of my better influences. Even though you say you weren’t abused, I know it’s really scary to see a parent going through that. I’m sorry that happened to you. Meth, in particular, is involved in so many chid abuse cases. It really can cause psychosis, which can be prolonged. I have also heard from people who went through horrific SA, as children. I was lucky my father was protective of me, around people he used with, too. Later in the progression of his disease, he had his moments, but not like that. I used to be a children’s advocate, but am now in the addiction recovery field, where the majority of people I’ve met are victims of abuse. While most abuse victim/survivors don’t abuse others, that’s usually a conscious decision. With drugs and alcohol, you’re dealing with impaired thought processes, physiological brain changes, and, not infrequently with meth, psychosis. I think it’s a more significant factor in these cases than most realize. because I’ve seen brain scans. I will never forget what I saw in victim services, and do my best to look out for the children of parents I see. I’d love to work with kids in treatment, too. I knew one young woman whose father gave her meth, at 13, so he could get her addicted and make her do sexual things to get drugs.

@kmadon68284 ай бұрын
People (in general) don't actually care about the victims of child abuse, in my experience. It makes them uncomfortable, so they ignore or excuse it. I guarantee you that even some of these commenters on this video declaring "how awful, why did no one do anything???" have encountered abuse victims and done nothing. When I tell people that my mom and I are on bad terms, they IMMEDIATELY jump to defend my mother. "You only have one mom, you should forgive her." She beat me and exposed me to dangerous people, no thanks. People watch these videos, get a thrill out of them, and then do nothing to support or protect victims of abuse. It's really aggravating. I'm not saying you do this, but people should be aware that most people will DO NOTHING to protect children, but will use them as an ideological battering ram nonetheless.
@viperman87884 ай бұрын
@@kmadon6828 You're making some sweeping generalizations kid. Most people are dumb sheep I agree, look how dutiful everyone lined up for an experimental jab and even ran out to get their kids jabbed! But I don't believe most people are evil they just don't want to get involved in others problems..... Where children are involved that should not be the case but it is.

@@kmadon6828Using them as ideological battering rams? You mean upholding and protecting the rights of children? And where do you get the idea that people just watch for thrills and don't actually care about child abuse? Are you basing this off anything substantial or is it a negative assumption and generalization based on someone telling you to forgive your mother without possibly knowing your abusive past with her.
@kmadon68284 ай бұрын
@@mellowmia4303 I work closely with social services as a pediatric nurse. I can tell you, from experience, that child abuse is culturally accepted in large swathes of America, because children "belong" to their parents. And people who jump to defending parents ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. If someone says they have a bad relationship with their mother/father, just accept that. It's not rocket science. And yeah, banning trans people from bathrooms doesn't do shit to protect kids, it's just people punishing so-called "deviant" behavior and using kids to do it. You want to protect kids? Go after the churches. They abuse thousands and thousands of kids a year. Instead we have a bunch of clowns pushing for the ten commandments to be in schools and for abortion access to be taken away from CHILDREN who have been abused by their dads and uncles. We have senators trying to lower the age of marriage to TWELVE because at twelve girls are "ripe and fertile"- a quote from a REPUBLICAN OFFICIAL. If you care, maybe start by helping us get those freaks out of office and out of the church, yeah? But most of ya'll don't even vote or take part in your communities 🫤

Having said that not long after I realized that I had an issue with the pain meds I stopped seeing that doctor and got help to get off of them. I was NEVER at the point where I couldn't function or was out of control or put my children in danger. So there are some (maybe not a lot) cases of drug issues where people can still look after their children.

The pain I'm experiencing down there is the most intense ive ever experienced, and ive had a baby and spinal fluid leak migraine (which used to be my #1 most painful experience). But these fissures are now #1... and it doesnt come close to the pain Tesslynn endured. And then to be forcibly penetrated on top of that? I can't fathom what this BABY went through. I felt that I needed to face what people are capable of doing to children and make these cases a reality in my world in order to protect her better. That was two years ago and I remember after a year realizing that there was nothing that could shock me anymore so why was I still putting myself through the agony and heartbreak of watching these videos as it wasn’t to learn anymore. It took me awhile to figure it out but it’s because the absolute least we can do as decent adults is endure a fraction of what these children did in order to remember them and hopefully ease their suffering wherever they are now by sharing their burden and loving/treasuring their memory the way they DESERVED to be loved and treasured when they were still here. It depends on the state. For example, one of the longest serving people on death row was like 40 yrs. Idaho or Iowa, I believe. All the appeals and whatnot, caring for the prisoner, etc. Then you have Texas that has an express lane to the needle. Costs are lowered, too, with prison ran farms in certain states. Texas, again, as an example. The prison ran farms generated something between 80 to 100 million dollars in the last thing I read m. Most of which goes back into the prisons. I know Texas the best because I was born and raised there. I did some of my clinical work in the prisons.

As horrible it is to hear. I am glad they described it in such detail because it’s important for people to know how awful and that these people DESERVE what ever comes to them! If not more! Poor baby..

exactly. as hard as it is to hear these brutal CA cases, more and more people need to know about it because that IS our sad reality, and these poor children need our protection :( it's wrong to turn a blind eye on the injustices of the world

I’m an ex drug addict with 5 years clean.. My whole life revolved around this shit for a few years.. Throughput my travels I can honestly say that I never came across any children being abused, most of us did not have children in tow, but if I did I would have made some phone calls without a doubt. I called the cops and animal control on multiple dealers and so called friends of mine for neglecting their pets. And I followed up. I’m a huge true crime listener and I feel a little desensitized to hearing some things but I’ll never understand why or how anyone can hurt a child or know that your child is hurting and do nothing about it .. Tesslynn is one of the sweetest baby angels now❤️

Yeah, this isn't the drugs, all these people were evil with and without being on drugs.

There is a special place in hell for this mother and her boyfriend. This is unbelievable for my brain to even imagine what they did to this baby girl. May she feel safe now in the arms of Jesus in Heaven 💗🙏🏻

Thank you guys for these. As a father these stories almost always bring me to tears, but I've learned a lot of useful information, such as the kinds of behaviors to look out for in kids that are being abused
