A lot of schools don’t allow students to have anything political and it’s not always a “double standard”. Students do have the right to freedom of expression; there’s no arguing that, but there’s something that should be made clear. Politics is a distraction in class and can instigate fights or arguments. The school is not trying to change that girl’s opinion on politics; they’re just trying to enforce the dress code. In most public schools, it is against the dress code to have flags or clothes that have political messages on them. I’ve seen fights break out in public schools due to someone having a MAGA flag or a Biden Harris flag.

I'm a teacher. People who step over the line like this (I'm talking about the school staff) makes the rest of us look bad, and I'm sick of it. This situation was blown out of proportion. For them to tell the mother that she was trespassing is unbelievable. My school, any school that I know of in my SD, never would have told her that (because she wasn't). I watched this "trespassing" thing progress from voluntarily signing in at the office, to the doors being locked and back ground screening for parents to participate. (Here) If you walk into a public school without permission - even to visit - you are trespassing, until a staff member acknowledges and accepts your reason to be there. When they trespassed her for something that was not violent or it had a potential of violence that's a huge red flag to me. That means they don't want parents in that building. There's stuff going on in that building they do not want any of the parents to know about. Are they letting the kids change clothes when they get to school because they are secretly changing genders? What is going on in this school building that they do not want parents there and if they come they trespass them. And staff was very calm so this is not the first time this has happened. I think it's standard procedure if a parent shows up to trespass them to get them out of the building. Stuff is going on that they don't want parents to know about. There we're at least six red flags just in this video that need investigation.

Schools are a "non public forum", which means that our speech is restricted by "time, place, and manner" restrictions. This is "one" of the reasons my wife and I homeschooled our children. Schools have become government woke ungodly, uneducated, brain washing environments. If you love your children, you will find a way to protect them and give them a "GOOD" education so you don't have to take care of them in the future.

This is one of my many reasons I took my kids out of school 15 years ago. I have graduated and sent to college 7 children. I will never allow one of my kids to go to a public school again. I have 6 more getting ready to graduate in the next 5 years. I applaud this lady. I also appreciate you standing up for our beliefs. Thank you.

@@patk3601 Those of mine that have gone to college have gone to our state Baptist college. I have 2 going to trade schools and one going to our local med college to become a RN. Thank goodness none of them have wanted to go to a large college yet. I don't know how I will deal with that if it comes up.

@Brian Price who's running? It's not about running it's about not giving the public schools our money and our support. They get our tax money for our kids, they have influence over our kids. In evey comment section they're always someone just like you pulling the "we need to fight!" Fight what? There is no fight. You don't like the way they're doing things do it yourself bottom line. We win by default lol Here in wv they get 13,692 per student per year if 10 parents pulled their kids out of school instead of "fighting back" the school would lose right around one hundred And thirty six thousand dollars per year. You do understand that talks, that hurts them, that's fighting back. So as you guys stand there and scream at school board meetings doing nothing but looking edgy for a youtube video our kids are getting a great education. let's be honest nothing has changed over the past 5 years with people fighting and shouting. The parents that stand there and get loud look stupid, they get nothing done, they can educate their own kids they just don't want to do it themselves. They want the state to do it. They want a state ran daycare for their kids so they can go to work everyday and not have to worry about thier kids

How can she trespass when her daughter is a student at the school. She is the legal guardian of the girl. If the girl uncle or cousins or aunt or friends then they can be said they were trspassong because they are not the girl legal guardian but the mother is. She has every right to enter or be in the school whenever she want as long her daughter is the student there and she paying for it.
