MOMBASA FOOD TOUR | The Best Yemeni Food, Mombasa Dishes & Eating at

Hey KZbin friends!
Here's my second video from my trip to Mombasa in November. I thought it would be fun to create a fun little Mombasa Food Tour sharing a few places I ate at with family and friends, listing their details below:
🥘 Royal House, Baytal Malaky. Instagram: @ royalhousemsa
They serve authentic Yemeni and Lebanese food. It was delicious! Their prices are very fair as well, ranging between KES 700 for the shish kabab served with nan, chips and salad to KES 1300 for a full chicken served with rice hummus and salad.

We had their ice lollies and I loved them! I had the mango chilli one and it tastes exactly like cut-up mango with chilli on top - so gppd! Their other flavours are really interesting too. Highly recommend that you check them out. We visited the branch in Tudo but there's one in Kibokoni too. Each ice lolly goes for KES 50 - A MUST HAVE.

They so kindly hosted my cousins and I to try a few things from their menu, and we loved it all. They also have a dessert place called 'Addiction House' that serves up indulgent milkshakes and desserts. Highly recommend you visit them. Our faves were the chicken poussin and samaki wa kupaka
🚢 OG Lighthouse! Salma and I had drinks from Freezing Planet, it's right next to the 'bird house'. Check them out on Instagram @ freezing_planet
We also had cassava crisps aka 'Kachri za Muhogo' a little further ahead. The corner is called 'Sea View'. Yum!

I’m sorry about your experience, I only recommend things I’ve tried out and genuinely liked. The only restaurant that hosted me was Mombasa Dishes, all other spots I went in unannounced. Maybe I went on a good day? Do you mind sharing what restaurant it was
