Finally, Nico, you have said it because you have experienced it; Ugandan cultures need to incorporate a bit more spice and herbs into their foods. Ugandan food was the best until I ate Nigerian food and later Kenyan foods when I lived (Githurai 44 -Zimma) . Jamaican food when I relocated there was even more flavorful and aromatic. Then I became an American in Atlanta , it all went South real quick! They have the dullest tasting foods of all time! I think, if we were to add a few spices/ herbs to our cultural dishes … nothing crazy … kitono nyo, wano ne wali, we could elevate our local dishes to another level.

Very Knowledgeable and Educated Ladies from Mombasa! I loved this combined commentary coming from the Tour Guides and the Guest himself. Lovely. The Food looks, and is sooooo tasty! I can smell it from here in #ngland! I agree with the comments from Sal 0, about Education being empowerment, and the beautiful example that these Two Beautiful Ladies, plus their Two Guests from Uganda, have set! Where did the idea of MKATE wa Nyama, come from? Basically it is a fusion of what the OMANI Arabs brought, which was then 'SPICED UP' by the MUSLIMS migrant workers from Pakistan and India, who settled in Kenya! Badically, this 'Mkate' is derived from the ORIGINAL pizza, which is An ARABIC invention from the Carthage Empire, which pre dates the Roman Empire by 150 years. The ARABS loved their Arabic Version of the 'Mkate ya Nyama', without the scrabbled Egg thrown into it! Therefore, the Arabic Mkate wa Nyama is one WITHOUT Eggs within. The West tries to make out that the 'PIZZA' was an Italian invention But it is NOT! The pizza is an ARABIC invention from al least 150BC, which the Italians copied, when ITALY was FORMED in 1861! Hope this helps!

MashaAllah. These Two Mombasa Girls exemplify why EDUCATION is Power! So proud of these Two! MayAllahswt protect them from the corruption of the Western World, and other Worldly temptations, and bless them with Righteous Spouses! The EXAMPLE that these Two Women have set, is a DIRECT message to the other Mombasa Folk, who SHY away from Education, and just sit around and expel Hot Air! "Kula Pweza, Mambo uta ya weza" simply means: "Eat Octopus, and you will be able to perform"(a sexual connotation), which is NOT necessarily TRUE! Just one of the 'HOT AIR' expelled by Mombasans! 😅😅 BarikAllah Feekum my Dears! Very lovely experience via this Tour! Beautiful actually.

I am sure people can hear .but sometimes you speak so fast that you lose some people that aren't ugandan because of how quick u rush your speech. Try to breathe while speaking and stay calm because you tend to panic when speaking. Otherwise, you're doing a great job.i love all the vlogs. Ai Nick, to eat RATS? RATS and PIGS are classed as ONE, and therefore forbidden by the Lord! Isaiah 66:17 New International Version 17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of PIGS, RATS and other unclean things-they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord! This Tour is very comprehensive, and the price of 35$ all inclusive, i feel 8s too cheap. Maybe for people from abroad, it should be at least 50$, or the Guests should contribute towards Drinks. Really enjoyed this Tour led by these Two Very intelligent Young Women!

Yes Correct. Easy confused by people and Munira. The Cowpea or Blackeyed Pea was ground and then made Into the Bajia that was eaten on show!
