This is a knockoff Jamaican cuisine. From the moment I saw it I knew. There is more to real Jamaican cuisine than just throwing some spice on some meat.

Awesome content as always. I enjoyed watching. Jamaican food is so flavourful. Their oxtail and jerk chicken are really good. My favourite is curry goat. You should try Jamaican patties which are really delicious 😋😋😋

Hihi all my friends!! Such a great video. I luv Jamaican food. I couldn't quite hear about the juice at the end, but I believe my Jamaican friend makes a juice from what we call Hibiscus flower here. Unsure what it might be called in other places. Thanks for the video Nico! You cleaned your plate I know you enjoyed it!

We say -hi MAI ca, the red punch is very nice, but what I really miss is what we'd call on in PR 'mavi', but I know there's another name in Jamaica - so refreshing!

Jamaican Jerk chicken is full of flavor but spicy. Did you try Beef or Chicken Patties? I also love Jamaican Rum Cake, Sorrel Drink , Festival aka Mandazi etc.

@@EatingTheAfricanWay 👸🏾Goddess Ann is quite a dish! Shes very beautiful! (Not an insult using the word ‘dish’ to describe someone.) My son took me to a newly opened Jamaican restaurant. The oxtails had beans in it. I thought it strange to have beans cooked in with the oxtails (as I’ve never heard or seen them cooked/eaten that way before) but…. THEY WETE DELICIOUS! Our food didn’t look quite as colorful as the ones you and Ann were served but still… tasty💚

It's the spices! If it's authentic they use fresh thyme, and allspice and yes they do ise coconut milk in the rice.
