Depends on what you want to take. Both will give same answer. If you consider clockwise positive then your final answer will be 334Nm and if you consider clockwise negative then final answer Wil be - 334Nm. Instead of writing like that, write 334Nm(clockwise)

It's not mentioned in the question that the wall is smooth so I am not able to get correct answer for angle of ladder. Could you help me with that sir please?🙏

@@priyashah9466 Definitely For ladder problems we won’t consider friction when it is mentioned as the wall is smooth or the values like coefficient of friction or angle of friction or angle of repose are not mentioned. If any one parameter related to friction is given then we can consider friction and evaluate parameters related to friction.

Because as perpendicular distance increases moment increases. If length is more then moment of force magnitude is more and if length is less then moment of force is less. M=F.d With out increasing the force if we just increase distance then we can have greater value of moment of force.

Imagine a windmill at the point where moment is asked. O in this case and consider all the forces as wind. Now 20N at C is a wind and it'd move the windmill counter clockwise. I hope it helped
