I slay noobs I have perfect vision and i can see a difference, but its not so big of a difference. Espescially considering one costs 1000 and the other costs 200. And face ID isnt better for me, personally i dont care since i wont buy an iphone. But Touch ID is 10000 times better, you just put your finger on the sensor and boom. I can agree with the headphone part, but its not smart right now because good wireless headphones are expensive as fuck. Anyways imma just buy a note 9 since its way better for me personally.

The X does have huge gains in low light though. In the 6S shots you can’t even make out entire buildings in the lower area, but the X has detail there. Plus it lets in a lot more light so the sky looks better. Overall I’m really impressed the 6S has held up this well!

This was actually very helpful. I own a 3yr old iPhone 6s and looking to upgrade to whatever comes next from Apple. This video helped me understand that, even for a 3yr old phone, its camera is still respectable when compared to the latest. i have iPhone 8 plus and 6s i use them both and i don't see any difference in therms of performance sometimes my 6s on iOS 10.3.3 is faster than my 8 plus but the camera is a bit better on the 8

I have an 8+ and have been going back and forth considering upgrading to the Xs for better video/photo. After seeing how insanely insignificant the improvements are between these generations of phones (6s/X) I am completely secure in my decision to stick where I'm at and just create with what's in front of me. Of course you can unleash all power for a minute in a test scenario but if you have only the bullshit cores working in everyday tasks because the allready tiny battery would die even faster if the phone would use the high performance cores, these benchmark numbers aren't worth shit.

Just bought a second hand iPhone X 64GB for a great deal from an acquaintance to replace my trusty iPhone 6 that has been with me since June 2015 and (except for 1x battery replacement at an Apple store when they had the discount on it two years ago) has yet to fail me. Although I might be here two years after this video was made, but I really wanted to thank you for pretty much proving my hunch that the only real reason for me to have done this replacement is because it was an exceptional deal and I could've EASILY lived with my iPhone 6 a while longer until most apps were no longer supported or it would've really broken in a way that wasn't worth fixing it for.

Even just the 7 is notably improved from the 6S thanks to the non-Plus model getting OIS, that was the big thing. Doesn't show up as much when using a tripod, but for quick shots with your hands it's a big deal.

Thanks ! Interesting and not surprising, the iPhone X has a more solid depth of field and feels sharper all the time, colors are slightly more consistent too. Night photography amplify the lack of details and dynamic range of the iPhone 6s, all get compressed and soft when light contrast isn't strong enough. I wonder if the X adds a subtle post-processed sharpen filter, looks like it in the portrait sequence (skin grain / shadows / sharpen ghosting)

I have a iPhone 6 and I recently upgraded to an X and I can tell you, the iPhone 6 camera would literally make a room that is more than decently lit, make it dark dark like you cant even see. The iPhone X camera has one of the best on the market and i can confirm the iPhone X is much better

Interesting video. I thought the low light test you guys did at the end was the most informative. Every other test was pretty much perfect conditions where neither the camera’s optics (plenty of light and very little vibration for the X’s ois to jump in) nor software were really being pushed to the limit - hence why there was very little difference. As perfect conditions are so easy for any camera to operate in, you usually don’t even see much of a difference between smart phone and dslr cameras in these tests.
