Saw this yesterday, was so amazing and SO long, had me in tears several times! Shows how the reasons we all connect emotionally with all the stories in all the Disney movies is because we relate to how important relationships with those closest to you are, the human experience. ❤ Too bad this video doesn’t have the fire during the villain part.

⁠I’m not sure what the term is, but I just realized this show doesn’t have any of the big round fireworks. I think in the U.S. castle parks, they’re usually fired off from the back of the park from a distance behind the berm, and they explode like giant spheres with various effects. I wonder if that was a show design choice or if there’s a reason Hong Kong DL doesn’t do those.

@@lautrufend The castle has been renovated as the Castle of Magical Dreams. With the renovation, small size of the HKDL and the new facilities has been added at the back of the castle, the pyro doesn’t allow to be as huge scale as those in other countries. The previous version of similar show is being show at the Sleeping Beauty and also as not much facilities at the back of the castle, it is much easier to close the back of the castle and allow large scale fireworks. But HKDL is quite proximate to a nearby residential area, residents there sometimes concern about the pollution that might occurred at that time

Now the display focuses more on light show than fireworks while back in 2007 when I visited, they displayed more fireworks which I prefer more.

Good video. You showed the whole show. Bur, I found the show boring because it was all music and effects on the castle. Nice and colorful. I went into it expecting fireworks which is why it got boring for me. I saw a lot of animals in the smoke from the fireworks that were there.

Shows in Disney Parks in Asia aren't advertised as firework shows anymore since Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo have very strict laws regarding the frequent use of fireworks in relation to pollution. So most shows made for the asian parks are more reliant on projections and water jets since it won't clash with local laws, is more cost friendly for Disney, and can still produce nice shows since they can run with or without fireworks.

@@이마크-r8e. No wonder it looks like they skimped on fireworks. Compared to Orlando and Anaheim, the fireworks were absolutely minimal in Hongkong. I was wondering if maybe they had fireworks regulations. Since Disney would definitely make this as magical as they possibly can. If HK is your first ever Disney Park experience, it’s stil a very magical show. But if you’ve been to the others in the USA, this show does seem like it’s lacking and can be underwhelming and disappointing.

@@j0hnj8mes Too bad this show can't reach it's best version with more fireworks, especially since this show was designed by the same people that did Happily Ever After, which is such a great show that I still have to see in person. HKDL's Disney in the Stars is my very first Disney nighttime show (Post 10th anniversary version), so it has a special place in my heart even if it ain't perfect and lacks in story compared to other shows that I've seen on KZbin years later.

First this show is designed for HK Disneyland 15th anniversary and the theme is “MOMENTS” that show originally called cherish the memories and soon changed to momentous, then now about what your problem goes. U said that it’s boring. They contains most recent Disney movies and that contains a larger variety than HEA which u said you liked. Now for the emotion part. What I want to say is. Did u watch the remember me part? Yes? Not emotional enough? Then watch the last part still not? Use your own life as an example try putting it on every chapter. The moment you are born, raised, having dreams, your love, the difficulties you face lastly those who left you. If you can’t, reconsider if your life is meaningful because it usually make you emotional if you put yourself in. However I do mostly think you did not.😅😅😅😅 don’t comment before you really understand the meaning. Oh one more thing, this show is designed by the same group of people designed HEA so yeah, u backfired HEA😊😊😊
