The plot of this video reminds me a ton of the James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies", in it a media mogul named Elliot Carver tries to start a war in between Britain and China over the South China Sea in order to sell more newspapers and it's up to Bond and another agent Wai Lin (Chinese Intelligence) to stop Carver. Honestly I would love to see a War Thunder campaign mode, it would be glorious, and also imagine if certain films were mimicked in War Thunder, for example Das Boot or Dr.Strangelove, I can dream.

From what the description says, I think this is like a fictional story (ala Ace Combat/Area 88) but using actual countries. It's supposedly about a "private entity" initiating a false-flag operation, in order to start a war between two major powers. Also, the guy saying "money moves faster in war time" and "peace will be disturbed for the next decade" sounds exactly like Project 4's (also a "private entity") plan of plunging the world into a hefty/long war to increase the flow of money to military contractors/arms dealers, which was attempted in the latter stages of the Area 88 Manga Edit: I believe the mockup submarine was meant to cause some sort of conflict escelation, since it was said to match the signature of other nuclear subs.

If gaijin started teasing new updates like this, just showing a short story with little snippets of the new vehicles (just 1 or 2 new vehicles per short video) that would so dope! You could still make a cool build-up like you guys did with the A-10 reveal, or give a tiny snippet of the vehicle in the story and leave us guessing what could have fired that/or a new type of missle/ munition. Should really expand your single player. You could easily add Korea, Vietnam and desert storm with both aircraft and tank missions. Be able to play both sides. The falklands war, Iran Iraq war. Ok why do people keep asking for Subs? Seriously, can you explain how you see subs fitting into the game at all? Do you play naval? Do you understand the mission profile of submarines and the changes to that mission profile from WW2 to today? Do you understand how a submarine would interact with the current naval vessels we have in game and exactly how anything in game would interact back? It would be completely game breaking or they would need to nerf their capabilities to the point of being absolutely worthless. You might be the exception to the rule. But it seems that most of the players that consistently play naval understand this. Since every time I've seen someone ask for Submarines on the official news or forums where we have to use our IGN, those asking usually have a combined.... across all trees massive 3 naval battles. If that's the case, please stop asking for them because if they think people will pay money for the subs they will add them and that will end up being the final nail in navals coffin probably.
