Dear Ava DuVernay, thank you! You inspire me. If I ever get a chance to meet you I’ll ask for a hug. Whether you say yes or no, I’ll tell you how much your brilliance means to me. I never thought I’d love a movie as much as I love “Daughters of the Dust.” No comparison, but “Origin”is also my favorite. I crave conversations on the topic. You are incredible! Please keep shining. Dear Melinda French Gates, I appreciate you. Your philanthropy is inspiring. I too crave to be a philanthropist. I contribute what I can when, but soon I’ll contribute a great deal more. AND, this series is brilliant. Thank you 🙏🏽

I just happened to catch CBS Mornings interview with MFG. When it was mentioned that Ava DuVernay was one of her guess, I made certain to block a time to view it. Ava DuVernay is a ray from the Sun, she brilliantly illuminates a story in such a way that is so relatable to its authentic contents. The way she and her outstanding crew made a most prolific author Isabel Wilkerson's book , Caste:The Origins of Our Discontent breathable and digestible is indeed an astonishing bit of film making that has no equal. I am a avid film watcher from Bogart to Hitchcock, from DeMille to Spike Lee 😀 from Blaxploitation films to Kubrick to Ken burns to Dr."Skip" Gates and many independent film makers of our time. Ava may be somewhat new to this but is indeed a Tour de Force to be reckon with in the 21st Century !!! I will continue to be on the look out for her upcoming projects and support her Array productions. Any director who can have a Funko Pop Directors figure made in there image has obviously made it onto a many radar. May your Star continue to Shine Brightly for all the World to see for you are a Shining Star !!! 🎉🎉🎉 For Your Consideration, When They See Us The Thirteenth Origin Thank You MFG, and much, much thanks to Miss DuVernay 🎉🎉🎉

That's so interesting! Asking "what do you want to become?" IS a box. Like there's some kind of end destination, or that a job title IS becoming. While there's no end destination in life (except death); you are constantly becoming, and job title is NOT you.

So meaningful. At 72, i find myself needing the kind of help i have actively worked to give women and girls for close to 50 yrs. From creating safe houses and shelters for women, running schools of liberation and empowerment for girls at risk, teaching how to identify and eliminate race and gender-based barriers to the best education for all, lobbying for equal access for lesbians and gay folks, to working directly w women in prison and supporting them upon release, to facilitating restorative justice healing circles in schools, courts and community, my life has bern abt learning, listening, sharing, loving, and fighting back. I would give anything to talk to someone in Melinda’s circle abt the evolution of this ordinary life of a single mother surviving by working alongside women impacted by systems designed to keep women in their place. I hope you will reach out to me.

After I finished the prayer through night in church, I went to put gasoline in my car. Then I saw a lady she were looking for her purse. She couldn’t find it & I was about to live to mind my business. The spirit allows me to go through her. I asked her are you alright & what are you looking for she said: her purse that she could find. I asked her I will put gaze in her car she refuses then I insist she said ok. I star talking to her to motivate her on what going on in her life. I told her, o don’t want to hear your story however I want to give you advice to teust God & yourself . Don’t relate your story to me. And we separate after talking to her. She said this is the word she were looking for.

Melinda, it's me, David and I had emailed Bill Gates about his luggable IBM compatible computer clone that he used for the IBM contract. I was 10 years old when I assembled the luggable while visiting a computer store to load up the latest computer games. This was in 1980, Bixby Knolls, California. The computer store is now an autistic center, and the building has always been owned by Warren Buffet. I was elbowed out of the way by Steve Wozniak after I assembled it when he couldn't. I never activated the micro server because those mature men, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Bill Gates, made me feel less than. The truth will come out because the sophwaer I write is the way IBM scientists envisioned for the "money box" IBM scientists first called the microcomputer.
