Q: "What could be next?" A: "I don't know". "...and that's okay..." I love this approach to creative life.

My reptilian brain was blocked spiritually, but since Ava reminded people through this talk how we should find our liberating territory and claim it, I used that phrasal verb as a mantra as she mentioned . I had to lose my old mind , corrupted and filled with disturbing thoughts . In fact, I created a new one which I found through the creativity of board games. Now, I can proudly claim my mind again along with my new ideas that are purely my own. I am Naurilan Vassili Ntouala, thanks a lot Ava ! God bless 🙏

I was privileged to see this as a surprise film. (AMCs screed unseen). I had no idea what 8 was going to watch. This was one of the most, if not THE most important films of our time. Well done Ms. Duverney! I truly hope every 16 year old gets to see this, along with their parents and even Grandparents. I want people to see and be able to discuss this film.

Ava DuVernay is brilliant, a creative genius and voice the US & the world needs… This film is incredible as is all of her work. I’m going to watch it again and again. This and 13th should be a part of HS & college curricula. Bravo! Another stellar accomplishment. ♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤

what an uninspiring interview - had to trun it off at 8:47 I didn't know what it is about, I didn't understand What I would get out of it I expected from the title a talk (as know and loved from TED) about how film changes the way we see the world

The trailer did nothing to attract me to see the film. The conversation and the critical response to the film does attract me as soon as it is posted on Netflix.

Films are an important reflection of society, culture & likes dislikes of the people around us 🎥📽️

Referring to someone as “remarkable” is exclusive to members of their own tribe. Animals have no interest in human remark abilities. Does that make us more special or more important than they? It’s very apparent that we have disregarded THEIR interests. We overestimate our value…given that our species offers the planet absolutely nothing!

I saw a film out of Fulton County Georgia in 2019... it showed suitcases of pristine mail-in ballots brought out from under tables after press and political opponents were sent home... the response of media to it was extraordinary... they said what I saw was usual business... nothing to see. 😂
