Yes I have a question... if we consider the closed system to be the ball itself, then momentum is not conserved right? Cause according to the law of conservation of momentum, the change in momentum itself is not equal to zero? Also if we didn’t want to violate the law of conservation of momentum, we have to consider the interaction between the ball and the impart force to be a closed system right? I’m genuinely curious about this

Hello. I would like to ask a question with your permission. Let any object move in the horizontal plane for a certain period of time. Is an impulse defined for the normal force acting on the object perpendicular to the horizontal plane during this period, or for the weight of the object? In other words, there is no velocity change in the direction of these forces during the motion period, but this is because the impulse transmitted by the normal force to the object and the impulses transmitted by the weight vectors to the object are negative of each other. They do not contribute to the total impulse. Is this thought correct? It is defined as the product of impulse force and the duration of action of the force. Is this definition valid only for forces in the direction of motion of the object? If the net thrust transferred to an object can be calculated as the vectorial sum of the thrusts transferred to the object by each force separately, can we think that the thrust transferred to the object by a force that is not in the direction of motion of the object is also defined? Thanks.

F=ma and an additional +x. X being over spill or detached force, which is exponentially increased while gravitating. The earth grabs it. Even sound's effective force. Flying vessels, especially space shuttles push force into the earth, that F=ma doesn't cover. Ground wiring is the path of the water and gas that is effected by displaced momentous effects. Compressors, attics and the stomach carry the displaced force constantly. Gravity and the so known speed of light, are quick. The force is hidden by lack of interest. Force is also linked to cancelled voltages as a constant. Part of the equation that proves +x. I booked the generations that now light the world, I am God, so don't doubt what I speak. My name: Charlie John Thomas

Impulse is the cumulative effect of a force applied through time. In simple terms, it is the product of force and the time it is applied. In complete terms, it is the integral of force over a time interval with respect to time. Momentum is what the object possesses once in motion. Impulse is to momentum, as work is to kinetic energy. There is an impulse-momentum theorem, relating the net applied impulse to a change in momentum. Just like there is a work-energy theorem, relating work done on an object to its change in kinetic energy.
