In this video I share the comparison between Mamaearth and The Moms Co baby wash. This video is basically a baby product review of mamaearth and the moms co baby wash.
We as mothers are always looking for the best baby products for our baby. We also consider the fact that the baby product should be natural and organic and therefore we go for the best.
However due to lack of awareness we tend to fall in the trap of the attractive baby product advertisements and purchase products which are toxic and harmful for the body.

As aware consumers and mothers we need to understand that the baby product needs to be non toxic , hypoallergenic , clinically tested , ph balanced, with natural fragrance , and gentle on baby's fragile skin.
So here I put forward the review of the two most widely used baby product brands in the Indian market.

Mam I have seen sodium Benzoate in the ingredients list of mamaearth products. Is it safe as it is also the harmful chemical preservative that I have seen online. So how’s mamaearth can be certified as made safe?

Hi Siddharth Thanks for your valuable addition.. As far as I know sodium benzoate is a common alternative to parabens. It is used as a preservative and can be found in nearly any type of baby product. It occurs naturally in some foods, including fruits, seafood and dairy products. More common, however, is it’s synthetic counterpart, which is used as a food additive that’s GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA up to a concentration of 0.1%. While generally not problematic on its own, sodium benzoate can form benzene, a known carcinogen, when it reacts with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) under specific conditions. This doesn’t prove to be an issue in products without vitamin C, but can become so when sodium benzoate is found in oral products, including toothpaste, teething gel and mouthwash. Now coming back to Mamaearth , I have reviewed their baby wash in detail in which sodium benzoate is not present .... They have used potassium sorbate primarily as a preservative. I review baby products only so can't comment on their other range of products.. Thanks for asking a relevant question .. Take care 🙂

Don't use chemical based soaps or any products see that you use medicated or natural products I'm using Bioderma Atoderm soap for my babies dry skin its dermatologists tested and makes babies skin soft and smooth as it contains Shea butter natural essences

HI Mousumi! Ideally any lotion that suits ur baby's skin is good . HOWEVER do consider the fact that there can be ingredients which are very harmful..Go for any brand that has certifications of being safe on babies .. natural and organic ingredient based products are good .. i personally find Mamaearth and the momsco good ... But always observe ur baby's skin for any allergy for the first few days of usage Good Luck

Coconut is good otherwise go for any oil that suits the baby's scalp .. idea is to massage the scalp very very gently with finger tips for blood circulation around the hair follicles that ll promote hair growth.. happy parenting 👍
