Bonsai in Mid Spring

Some trees already had most leaves hardened off while others are still pushing new leaves! The leaf colors change daily and it's really exciting to see they are getting ready for late spring/summer time in the coming months.

Ali, my friend! You have an amazing skillset. Thank you for your dedicated work to JM and showing it for all to see! Question - at 8:50, you show a JM in a rectangular pot, but you have wood 2x2’s placed inside the pot. Is this to give the JM some feeling of being in a wooden box to encourage growth?

Thank you for your kind words! Oh the plastic nursery container had too much space in the direction so I placed those wood pieces so I can save some soils :)
