The red thing in the turkey pops up when the turkey is cooked. Poor Josh doesn’t know what ham on the bone looks like because Momma has only used canned ham in the past. I always cook my turkey most of the way covered so it stays moist and tender. Just uncover it at the end to roast the skin. 😘

I use the bag as well. It's called a "browning" bag for a reason as long as you cut some small slits in the top it will brown, but got to take that lid off!! Lol
