The miscarriage of justice in 2010 led to her believing herself invincible. She knew she'd get away with it again. Her pleas for mercy makes me sick. Her son is terrified of her. The boy suffered a lifetime of abuse. When she finally dies, we'll hear just how abusive she truly is.

Women are capable of a specific level of evil that is the most calculated and vicious humanly possible. Especially when it involves money, child custody, and divorce settlements… Not that the victim is to blame, but men need to be weary of women with ulterior motives who may be willing to destroy you and your life for her own benefit…. AND PEOPLE, STOP MARRYING PEOPLE THAT YOU JUST MET! You should spend at least a year with someone before you consider becoming legally bound by marriage… Not to mention having children elevates the risk of finding yourself in a vicious situation.

Our hearts hurt for his boys, and all who loved this man. His long time friend who tried to let the court and community know what a terrible woman she is, we send our deepest sympathies to, as well. I lost my best friend to murder in December, 1996. The evil and vile being, walked free this past July, 2022. We are disgusted in our justice system, some jurors, and some judges. the unkown being overwhelming for people who cant financially take care of themselves is the truest thing I ever heard. it would certainly help a lot of people leave abusive relationships if they could atleast not have to worry about not having a place to live and food to eat. I know so many women who can't leave because they got stuck at home with a mentally abusive man who holds the bank account and therefor the kid hostage.

Can someone explain why the jury was not supposed to hear that she shot her son with the same gun she killed her husband with? (they overturned her conviction on that) I would like know why not? if it is public record, why can't it be told to the jury?
@CoffeeCatsAndTrueCrime
@CoffeeCatsAndTrueCrime Жыл бұрын
I'm no lawyer but I think it's a matter of potential tainting the jury against her. Including it could lead to the defense being able to overturn a conviction or call for a mistrial. Not saying I agree with it, however.

The information would be Highly Prejudicial to the Jury They are Not allowed to hear About previous crimes and Or criminal activities Murders Rape etc Because they might be Judged on that fact And Not the evidence Pertaining to this case Often when convicted They are allowed to be Brought in during the Sentencing Phase But Not Always
@JessLBreen
@JessLBreen Жыл бұрын
It's a form of bias prejudicial information! Now some of the info about the police not being able to take measurements and all at the crime scene! The fact that the original gunshot prior to him coming into the house should had been 100% known! The fact of him grabbing a knife she knew could play out in her favor but if he did grab the knife it was likely in case someone was in the home attacking her due to hearing the gunshot
@TawnyC_
@TawnyC_ Жыл бұрын
No one should be surprised that she shot her son...least of all her son. As the Family and Marriage Atty stated, a child would be afraid to tell the truth since the only person left to take care of him could do the same to him as she'd done to his father. So he actually should have told the truth and testified _against_ his mother. Then maybe she wouldn't have had the chance.
@Aboma2012

But getting the gun out again to save her wonderful son from what mother dear thought was a b- girl friend just proves that leopards don’t change their spots ever. The most extreme case of narcissism I’ve EVER heard!! … she is sooo classic … it’s amazing tho how they not only control their family and friends .. but are able to mesmerize a 12 person jury … They are master manipulators and unless you LIVE with them you will NEVER know who they truly are … They are the epitome of evil and they thrive on being able to do what they do ! …. There’s no question the kids have been hypnotized by her …close friends can sometimes see through them as this lawyer friend of James could clearly see … But casual acquaintances will never see the reality behind the mask … what a disgusting psychotic B*%ch … who will one day get the karma she deserves … But it doesn’t surprise me she got off in both situations ..They always do ! … I like how the defence mentioned that the jury if using common sense will convict lol … Obviously not an ounce of it in these cases ! I don’t care if I’d have been the ONLY juror to convict I would NOT have changed my mind I’d have stood my ground until it became a miss trial… period!!
