The stars on the eyes symbolize having idol traits or character. Hoshino Ai has it by default because she has had an Idol trait since birth. Aqua and Ruby only have one on each because even though they have Idol traits, they are still normal people in their past life. (in general as a character) Akane is just a normal person but with her acting skills, she could become an Idol. You can see an Idol's traits by looking at their physical features, their character, and somehow people can't stop looking at them.

your right someone with hard work can match someone with natural talent but Akane have the natural talent and she is also hardworking she is the only one who can copy ai for now... Ruby do have the talent for acting (hints on episode 1) Ruby knows more than Akane and Ruby actually live with Ai for years so another one who can possibly copy Ai is Ruby and might even surpass Akane or same level

and the latest chapter is indicating she is a good actress of her mom! it's only a matter of time before they revealed the whole movie to the audiences, and judging from the foreshadowing we've gotten from the first few pages on some of the earliest chapter, i'm assuming she's doing great!

Natural talent is overrated. In my field, theoretical physics, I see many naturally talented students who simply fail because they do not have the discipline to do the hard work. If you dedicate yourself with a skill, the only way forward is hard work. Talent alone can only do so much.

Akane is talented but that's acquired talent. She just learns a lot. Perhaps season 2 will answer this in more details.

One of the things I appreciated about this is Aqua would have been entirely capable of going scorched earth on the producers and staff of the show with the video he made. However, if he had done so, his future in the entertainment world would have gone up in smoke, and Aqua would have faced pretty serious lawsuits as well. Instead he helped Akane while also creating positive buzz for the show and increasing its popularity. While seeing the production of the dating show crash and burn would be mildly cathartic, seeing Aqua maneuver through the politics of the entertainment industry in a believable way really, really makes me want to go read the manga 😅

I like how he sort of subtly hinted to the director that he *could* go nuclear as a way of pressuring him to give them the footage they needed. He realized that no one wanted it to blow up into a big scandal, and that gave him a lot of room to work things out.

So, at least up to this point I have had a very hard time predicting what will happen next. But I have a theory here. With how good Akane is at reading people and their situation... there is a good chance she figured out Ai had kids. The moment she brought up that she likely had relationships with guys and that she changed around the time she turned 15, it should be obvious after that right? Hiatus due to "health issues" lasted for a length of time that would fit the idea of her being pregnant. Then there is that viral video of Aqua and Ruby with the glow sticks. An Ai's smile after seeing that. She might not be able to connect that to Aqua yet though, but I think if she saw Ruby it would click with how much Ruby looks like Ai. The skills she just showed, there is no way she wouldn't have figured that out right? I wouldn't even be surprised if she figures out Aqua's reason for entering the entertainment industry. With that said, there is a good chance I am wrong on this as again, my predictions in this anime have not been very good. I am always thinking something more grand will happen, but then it just ends up being way more realistic instead, which to be honest is a good thing XD. With all that said, Aqua's reaction here is going to be interesting, cause in a way it's gotta be painful to see. This actually might break his walls down a bit where he didn't really intend so. Which may play a part in Akane piecing everything together. But we'll see. This anime is really fun to watch.
