you generally only want to run 1 hero card, and reno is just better. Lifesteal isnt that impactful and the 2 mana water elementals are very slow

​@@leobastian_ Honestly Reno is so powerful I wouldn't mind running him with Anduin just for the clear, even tho ideally I play him first. The thing is Jaina at 9 is just bad, Anduin in Priest at least has a T3 deck, sometimes T2 or T1. Reno is a special case for how powerful he is, would even run him in Galakrond if they decide to make Invoke cards decent enough to see play nowadays, but you're kinda right, you don't wanna play two Hero Cards, but it isn't the reason Jaina isn't here.

13:08 its actually closer to 4x value of the original ele. The draw splits the cost (so each effect is doubled), plus therazane returning the stats to original means youve now got doubled stats and effects at half cost.

i thought he meant that playing Therazane _after_ Mes'Adune was what was giving the extra value by somehow increasing the minion stats - as opposed to playing them in the reverse order. Which is not the case in fact, one effect halves the stats and the other doubles them, meaning that no matter the order Therazane simply "restores" the split minions' stats to their "whole" version. (although depending how rounding goes there might be edge cases where one sequence is better then the other)
