Many times when a subwoofer gets blown like that 9/10 times it was being clipped. I just made a video on matching my subwoofer and amplifiers. Impedance rise and clipping subwoofers. Check it out.

The JBL compared to JL Audio? Honestly no comparison. JL Audio hand's down. There's a huge price gap between those two companies too. While one is $75 the other is $200. For the price the JBL do what you would expect. I love their amps though, some of the best out there. Thanks for your question and comment 😊

I had 2 Skar VD 12s, i had them in a single cab box which was ported behind the seat, man i hated them in. I put them after in a sealed box, still didnt sound good. i bought 2 of these JBLs on black firday for 29.99 each and man they sound a million times better but looking to get another subs to fit my box, theyre 6.5 depth so dont have alot of room to play

Got any videos on tuning amps also I got the soundstream tarauntula u recommended with 4 gauge wire ran drove to work this morning maybe 5 minutes away got off battery dead should I upgrade battery or alternator also what amp alternator

That's a big problem. It's probably your alternator if that happens. A battery upgrade will just die the same way. This happens to more people than you realize. They buy an amplifier without knowing what they have for power. Your alternator is your car's heartbeat, without a heartbeat your not going anywhere. The wire just helps more current run through. A safe number to go by is for every 10 amps your alternator is that's approx 100 watts. Your car uses about 50 amps to run at any given time. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. If you seen one of my latest videos I did with my son in law, I mentioned using over 200 amps of power, he replied on this channel we use real world numbers and only speak the truth, something along those lines.

@@SubzPawz I have a 105 amp alternator the amp is soundstream tarauntula 3500 and the sub is a skar zvx12

@@brandengarrett6085 your probably pulling everything your alternator can give and it's all going to your amp. Nothing left for the car to run on.

@@brandengarrett6085 if you run over 1,000 watts then you'll need a new high output alternator. You're running a 3500 watt amplifier on 250 watt subs. I'm sure those subwoofers have blown already.
