The fact that this songs talks about laughing and smiling, and that it came out right after that big earthquake in Japan is really wholesome. The kinda of vibes you need after that.

That interpretation is not a mistake in a big sense. "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" is a cheering song that says, "Let's laugh and overcome even if there are difficulties." However, since this song was created as the ending song of the animation "Joshiraku", it has never been defined as a cheering song for the reconstruction of the "Great East Japan Earthquake". The songs released to encourage people after the Great East Japan Earthquake are "MOMOCLO no Nippon Bansai" and "Z Densetsu owarinaki kakumei". These two songs were recorded in the 1st album "Battle and Romance" and released in July 2011. "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" was announced in July 2012, a year later. "MOMOCLO no Nippon Banzai!" And "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" both have "Nippon" in the song title. For this reason, I presume that someone who misunderstood mixed the information of the two songs and disseminated it. I've seen people from overseas write similar content before. In the live after the earthquake, another song "Mirai e Susume!" Was often sung. This song is a song that says, "Everyone can support each other and overcome any difficulties." MOMOCLO no Nippon Banzai! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6TSe4ybnKerb7c ※「Nippon Banzai」=「Good luck! Good luck! Good luck! Tohoku! We love Fukushima's peaches! We love Yamagata's cherries! We love Miyagi's beef tongue! We love Akitakomachi! Aomori apples are great! We love Iwate's fishes! Please don't give up! Have hope! ※The Tohoku region is an area that was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. ※"Akita komachi" is the name of rice made in Akita prefecture. MOMOCLO no Reiwa Nippon Banzai! kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJqrhpaBbNihq80 ※"Reiwa" is the current Japanese era name. ※They have been singing this new version since they became a group of four. The lyrics have also been changed to match the current situation. The lyrics have also been changed to match the current situation. MOMOIRO CLOVER/MIRAI E SUSUME! kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4C7Yahso9hmkNU ※「MIRAI E SUSUME」=「Let's look straight ahead and move forward together toward the future.」 ※When this song was released, it was a 6-member group and the group name did not have "Z" at the end.

This is the first official MV for this song. Q2: It was a group of 5, right? A2: "Momoiro Clover Z" is a four-member group from January 2018 to the present. The four have been in the group since their major debut in March 2010. Q3: Where are the green members? A3: She left the group in January 2018. Q4: Is "Jugem" a quote from "Fullmetal Alchemist"? A4: No, it's a quote from the classic Japanese rakugo "Jugem". Q5: Is this song an imitation of Wagakki Band? A5: “Nippon Egao Hyakkei” was released in July 2012, and Wagakki Band was formed in March 2013. A song that came out earlier cannot imitate a song that came out later. Q6: Is this song a cheering song for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake? A6: No. "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" was made as the theme song for "Jyoshiraku". July 2012: "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z" was in charge of singing the ending song "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" of "Joshiraku". September 2012: "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z" released "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" on CD. No official MUSIC VIDEO was produced. January 2018: One member left. We changed from a group of 5 to a group of 4. After January 2018: With top priority on popular live songs, the work of reconstructing more than 120 songs for "4 people" (-ZZ ver.-) has begun. May 2018: "Nippon Egao Hyakkei -ZZ ver.-" was sung as part of a medley song at Tokyo Dome. August 2018: "Nippon Egao Hyakkei -ZZ ver.-" completed at "momoclo mania2018" was sung. Early 2021: An internet meme using "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" as BGM goes viral on tik-tok. In response, the song's popularity skyrocketed worldwide. It topped the J-POP charts in 19 countries. May 2021: Released self-cover album "ZZ'sII" containing "Nippon Egao Hyakkei -ZZver.-". June 2021: Released the music video for "Nippon Egao Hyakkei -ZZver.-". This is the first official MV. October 2022 The number of views of the music video for "Nippon Egao Hyakkei -ZZ ver.-" exceeded 5 million. Some people claim to have seen the "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" music video before June 2021. It's probably a fan clip from a TV show or a live Blu-ray disc. Videos made from the TV program "MUSICFAIR" and the Blu-ray disc "MOMOCLO NATSU NO BAKASAWAGI 2012" have been uploaded to KZbin for some time. Until this MV was made, "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" didn't have an official MV. 桃黒亭一門 Some people see this music video and mistakenly think they are playing the character "Joshiraku", but that's a mistake. They are cosplaying as "MOMOKUROTEI ICHIMON". "MOMOKUROTEI" is a family name. "ICHIMON" refers to the whole family. When singing the ending song of "Joshiraku" in 2012, a gimmick was prepared in which "High school girl rakugoka" sang the ending song. This MV reproduces the gimmick of that time. The names of each character at that time are as follows. Red: MomocloTei Dekoppachi: Kanako Momota Yellow: MomocloTei Pekorinosuke: Shiori Tamai Pink: MomocloTei Punimaru: Ayaka Sasaki Purple: MomocloTei Namennna: Reni Takagi Green: MomocloTei Chibita: Momoka Ariyasu(She left the group in January 2018.) They are not currently using gimmicks. In this MV, it appears as "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z". 落語 It is one of the traditional Japanese narrative arts that was established in Japan during the Edo period and has been handed down to this day. The frequency of laughter is high. "Joshiraku" is a story of high school girls doing "Rakugo" in club activities. 寿限無 The original meaning of the word is "endless longevity". The title of classic rakugo known for long memorization and tongue twister. A laughing story that arises from giving a ridiculously long name that sticks to "length" so that the born child can live a long and healthy life forever. The story is that "every time two people have a conversation, they repeat a long name, so the content of the conversation is almost just the name." There are various variations depending on the storyteller, the era, and the medium. 様々な作品で引用される「寿限無」 "Jugem" at the beginning of the ending song "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" of "Joshiraku". "Jugem" conversation between "Scar" and "King Bradley" in "Hagaren 4koma Gekijou -> Hagane De Renkinjutushi" recorded on the "Fullmetal Alchemist" DVD. Both are based on the Japanese classic rakugo "Jugem". This work is a very famous story that anyone who likes rakugo knows. It's a funny story that "it doesn't become a conversation because it repeats a long name every time it talks". In 2009, Shiori Tamai, a member of MOMOIRO CLOVER Z, performed the rakugo story "Jugemu" to the audience on a TV program. "Kenichi Maeyamada" who composed "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" reflected this episode in the lyrics. "Jugem" quoted in "Hagaren 4koma Gekijou". I think it was adopted because the scriptwriter was familiar with "Rakugo" and it was just right for incorporating it into the short story. Rakugo "Jugem" is performed by one person, but in this animation, the setting has been changed to a dialogue between "Scar" and "King Bradley". The content is close to the original "Jugem". Jugemu performed by Shiori Tamai kzbin.info/www/bejne/aanCqpaVntt4g7M Hagaren 4koma Gekijou kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqCcd3yVo7-UbLc Official name: MOMOIRO CLOVER Z (zetto) Famous abbreviation: Momoclo RED:Kanako Momota(Group leader) YELLOW:Shiori Tamai PINK:Ayaka Sasaki PURPLE:Reni Takagi Currently it is composed of 4 people. They also belonged to "Momoclo" when they released "Nippon Egao Hyakei" in 2012. (Double Zeta Version) The version name given to a song that was previously released as a "song for 6" or "song for 5" and reconstructed as a "song for 4". At the suggestion of the members, a complete review was carried out, and the reconstruction including the singing part, lyrics, arrangement, and choreography was carried out. There are songs that haven't been reconstructed even now, and fans are looking forward to the day when they will be sung live. The origin of "Double Zeta" is "ZZ Gundam". Mr. Kawakami, the general director of "Momoclo", loves Gundam. "Z" is not from "Z Gundam" because it is handed down from "Ichiro Mizuki" who sings the theme song of "Mazinger Z". If you continue to do what you were doing with 5 people without changing anything with 4 people, it may look inferior to before. If so, there may be various opinions, but it was concluded that it would be better for the four of us in the future to take the plunge and rebuild everything. Quoted from "Momoclo dome roku" Abbreviation for "Team Diamond Four" or "The Diamond Four". Nickname and subname representing the current "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z" from 2018/01. "Team Diamond Four" includes staff and fans in addition to the four members. When used for goods, it is written as "T: DF" with a smiling emoticon included. 黒衣 The person in the black costume that appears in the MV is called "Kurogo". They are not ninjas. On the Kabuki stage, you can help actors change their costumes quickly, change sets, and fly birds and butterflies. If you are on stage wearing black costumes, you will be treated as "they are non-existent actors". More than 100 years ago, there was no mechanical stage set, so Kabuki used these ideas to decorate the stage. It seems that the information that "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" is a support song for the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake is spreading overseas. It has been discussed several times in the comments section. This song was created as the ending song for the animation "Joshiraku", and was never defined as a cheering song for the reconstruction of the "Great East Japan Earthquake". The songs released to encourage people after the Great East Japan Earthquake are "MOMOCLO no Nippon Banzai!" and "Z Densetsu owarinaki kakumei." These two songs were included in the 1st album "Battle and Romance" and released in July 2011. "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" was announced one year later in July 2012. "MOMOCLO no Nippon Banzai!" and "Nippon Egao Hyakkei" both have "Nippon" in their titles. For this reason, I guess that someone overseas who misunderstood mixed the information of the two songs and spread it. I've seen people from other countries post similar content before. In addition, the song "MIRAI E SUSUME!" was often sung during live performances after the earthquake. This song is a song with the content that "we can all support each other and overcome any difficulties". MOMOCLO no Nippon Banzai! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6TSe4ybnKerb7c ※「Nippon Banzai」=「Good luck!
