For someone who aspires to relocate to SG, I appreciate the portrayal of how a foreign worker can break the law. They are strict laws, one must read them thoroughly before going to work in SG.

They are unnecessarily taking job opportunities that could have gone to other needy local nationals which is certainly unfair and that is why laws are in place, to make sure that local nationals get equal and priority job opportunity. They already have legal permit to work for one employer, they don't need to do another part time job, whatsoever, that's being greedy for money. They have to respect and follow foreign laws if they want to continue working there or they should go back to their home country and do 10 or more jobs at a time for all they want.

khusnul blekty If they do, a bunch of foreign workers pulling this off would cause undue problems for ICA and the work economy in general.

Are there any website that can ensure any foreign workers can work legally without any small pieces of problems? Btw, I am from Germany nor typical Singaporeans. And why they're not allowed foreign workers doing part time job even if they have working permit card? Are there any explanations to show me why it is not permitted even if you have working permit card and insurance themselves? Btw, Spending money in singapore isn't an easier thing when consuming prices are remained high and if you do one jobs only, how can they survive? Of course they will do one more job to ensure they can afford their needs in Singapore. Their laws are somehow depriving their living standard.

In SG, the worker should only work for the employer or company mentioned in the work permit card. This is to avoid complications in the future

Sigh. I see comments saying the punishment was unfair. And I agree. But laws have to be enforced. In this case it happens That they are mostly innocent and this is unfair, but there will be cases where people will use this leniency to follow their footsteps. And this will cause problems for agencies like ICA. Also by allowing workers to work illegally, workers are also at risk of abuse. Because if they get abused who are they going to report to?
