Great Video ! The first I went to Monache Meadows was back around 1966 on dirt bikes with my father. I still want to drive back there. Do you think that one hill that has an easier bypass, about 32 minutes into the video, can be done with a rear locker. I have an 04 reg cab Tacoma and was just wondering if I can do this without having to add a locker or a winch. Obviously, the Jeep had no problems.

Thank you. I think if you have just enough clearance 35’ you may be able to do with open diff, with rear lockers yes you will make it, also the bypass on the rightside is awesome easy just in case.

Thank you very much for the response. My Tacoma has enough clearance for most of them if driven slow enough through the "tougher" sections. I am only running 32" and do not plan to add 35" as too many other things that would need changing. I just don't want to add the lockers unless and until I can find someone competent.@@OffroadChefs

Exactly the video I needed to see prior to my trip! Sorry if this is a dumb question but are the River campsites at the trailhead near the general store or at the end of the trail? I cant tell if your video starts deep in the trial and you are on your way back out or vice versa. Thanks!

Thanks 😁Yes there some narrow trees, but actually ive seen some long bedbpick up truck and small RV’s getting through 🤔 I think its ok 👌 just take it easy.

Hi . This is the gps coordinates start of the trail: 36.09436,-118.26490 - keep on driving stay on left and pay attention to sign, it say River campground ⛺️ good luck. I dont have coordinates of the river campground itself, but you will not miss it- once you see my video, it will make it easier for you i think
