This is very sweet and since you/she adopted the situation you are now her official mothers for life, and she will follow you until she finds a natural mate! A few yrs. ago I went to the Animal Welfare League (in Adelaide S.A.) and 'adopted' a 14mth. old female cat that they wanted to be rid of cheap as no-one wants a cat that age that has not learned to associate with ppl. But I knew that if she got the playful interaction/love that she needed she would become a nice friend, we played 'chasey' where I would chase her up my hallway making ominous sounds and she'd hide under my bed. Sometimes if I'm busy in my kitchen she will pop her head into view and then make a grunt sound as she runs for her life up the hallway hoping I'll chase her, so funny! At other times if I'm walking from the kitchen to my lounge, she'll sneakily run behind me and nip my ancle and then make a mad dash for the hallway! Other times like right now, while I'm on the computer she will settle h/self on the table next to my keypad and purr her head off. So nice that they are so happy just to be close. You feature your dad s/times and it's great to see, but where is mum, is she still in the picture, she seemed to be very supportive in earlier videos Any chance you'll come back to Adelaide S. Au. anytime? . . . The koalas are missing you! 😘 A little love can go a long way. Be happy ppl.

You both made a forever friend in Neve. It's an incredible story of rescuing and saving a life of a wild animal and the most heartwarming love and friendship bond that could have happened. Left me with moments of so much heartfelt joy and laughter. I never thought a gosling/goose could be so affectionate and responsive to you both, like Neve believed she was human. I love how she responded to your singing, so attentive, and I could see she could understand things you say like "NO!" when she tried to eat some plants and immediately stopped walked over to you. Also when you gave her watermelon, and she looked up at you so intently after eating it as to communicate something to you like thank you. Neve is a most special and amazing animal that's so full of love that you both gave her. I've never seen a human-animal bonding video so heartwarming and wonderful as this. It's inspiring! You both continue to amaze and impress me to no end with your music, and humanity. BTW, little Neve looked so cute and adorable when she would run chasing after you. Would love to see her fly in a future post! Thanks so much for capturing these wonderful moments of unconditional love! Neve is the luckiest Canada Goose in the world. Absolutely loved this.

Reminds me of the excellent movie. "Fly away home" Where a young girl rescues a clutch of Canada geese and rears them and eventually helps them migrate by imprinting a geese modelled microlight for them to follow hundreds of miles to a winter home.based on a true story. I've watched it so many times. Its heart lifting. Well done to you all.

What a wonderful video to come across today of all days. My cat called Maude became very sick and the vet recommended we put her to sleep. It was a hard decision, but best for her. It is so great to see the love you all have for Neve and she is now in her forever home. Bless you all.

I LOVE this. Neve is forever MLT Fan #1. I've done this several times and the bond you form is incredible. They always let you know what they need and your heart just communicates with theirs, totally without words, every moment. One summer I woke up every morning at first light with Chester the baby mockingbird stomping on my face, unwilling to start the day or eat a bite or sing a note without me. If I started for the door he was on my shoulder. He returned to the wild when he was ready. I gave him his life; he gave me more. I love the birds in your music, because birds have always been my soul.

How cute ! My grandparents were farmers and bred geese. I live in town, but have always thought that if I had a garden with grass later on, I would like to have geese as well. They are quite territorial animals, but very clever and affectionate. Providing you respect their living space and take care of them, you can develop very close relationships with these birds.
