I think that's a great option, especially since unlimited booster boxes are quite cheap in many areas right now!

@@THEGLADIUS101 it depends on what you wanna do. The decks will certainly teach you better with a friend. A box will be much more exploratory but you'll get better quality cards. I have a full vid on 2.0 but the short answer is no, there's just a lot of unlimited out there :)

Hm, personally I like Prism more. I talk about this in a Channel Fireball video I made recently but you can really build Prism multiple ways so there's a lot of diversity in her as a hero!

As someone considering starting out what should I buy just 2 blitz decks? How much is the playmat?

2 blitz decks is a fantastic way to start. That playmat was given to me by LSS (it was also offered as a prize for the Monarch prerelease) and they can run quite a bit. Nearly all official FAB mats are expensive because they're given out at prizes or special promos - though there are a lot of cheaper community mats (I'm actually having a few designed myself right now!) When building a deck does the color matter towards how many copies of a card you have? For example can I have 2 yellow, and 2 red versions of a card in the same deck or only 2 all together?

They count per color - so you can have 2 red, 2 yellow and 2 blue for blitz!

Alas, I paid a rather terrible price for a set of 4, but what’s done is done. Only tried Levia and Prism so far, and of those 2 Levia I feel is easier to play at least to a new player like myself, her mechanic is really easy to understand after just a couple turns. Levia’s deck is able to handily defend against Prism’s phantasms just due to that focus on 6 power attacks, with the dreamweaver and those two spectra auras being the main things that aren’t just instantly destroyed. Gonna admit though I doubt I played Prism well though, and Levia did have to deck out all of Prism’s defenses to finally win.

@@RedZoneRogue Whoops, missed your reply! Having sat down to think about them a bit, I’m not yet entirely sure what to do about Levia’s deck. Prism, however, my first thought is more ways to generate Spectral Shields (more red or yellow Prismatic Shields I guess?) or other auras, just so she’s not as reliant on having to land hits with things that can go to her soul. Alternatively, more red Illuminates, Solartide Risings, or other such attacks that can go to her soul but aren’t phantasms, just to make it difficult to fully defend against. That’s a lot of red, though, which may make actually attacking with those auras chancier. I need to sit down and play with them some more as is, just because I’ve gotten a bit better understanding of things now, especially with how Prism as is might better face off against heavy hitters.

Yeah internationally it's tricky. I know of a few Canadian stores that sell them but not online - Red Riot Games is an example of this. There's a very active Canadian FAB discord that you could join - perhaps those folks have a better idea than I do of where to go!
