There is a simple reason why monarchies are more stable and richer in general, it is because it is in the best interest of the Royal Family that it be so. Kind of like an owner of a house who has a vested interest in keeping the value of the property up. People who are elected in Democracies and Republics are like someone who rents a house over a short period, they don't have any long term commitments or interests with the value of the house because they know they are only there for a short amount of time and when they leave they have no real responsibility for the state in which they leave the house. This leads to guaranteed corruption on a systemic level and short-term thinking compared to Monarchies which tend to think longer term because they care about what they will pass on to their children. Also, a key problem when it comes to stability is the way Republics and democracies are always divided along political lines, you'll have one political party in charge for a few years, then another one will take its place and get to work undoing everything the previous one tried to do and it just keeps ping-ponging back and forth.

better still i think its more like someone who owns a shop and runs it himself with the notion of passing it to his kids. Compare this to a coop owning a shop and putting in a manager on a wage for 4 years, and after 4 years they are out. Which one is going to look to the long term benefits and profitability more, which is more likely to do dodgy stuff to enrich themselves in the limited time they have?

@@michaeljoseph6782 I also agree with what he commented, however I must say that this presentation was very unintelligent. The speaker is comparing countries with a long colonial past with the rest so no wonder that monarchies are best, rich colonial powers were monarchic and quite a lot of them kept this status. Also, then he is showing pictures of failed presidential democracies, and not other types of government, I mean what about parliamentary republics? Furthermore, all these rich monarchies on the list are anyway completely symbolic, and also when pointing out how rich they are I must say that there are let's say germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, France, and more, which are not monarchies but are very wealthy and with a high quality of life. His data shows rather that parliamentary democracies OR constitutional monarchies are better functioning than presidential democracies and also absolute monarchies. So, parliamentary democracies are not worse than constitutional monarchies and they both are about equally better than presidential democracies in general, of course with some exceptions like France for instance

Some people might prefer republics but when you look at for example arabic countries, you realize arabic monarchies are way more stable than republics. 1) in Arabic peninsula all monarchies are very rich countries and there is only one republic which is Yemen - this country is relatively poor and unstable compared to them; being in some sort of civil war chaos 2) Jordan (monarchy) is more stable than all nearby arabic countries like Syria, Lebanon, Palestine (all republics) 3) Morrocco is richer and more stable than african arabic republics (perhaps except from Egypt but this one is of the most visited tourist place in the world) 4) during Arab spring republics were affected the most (Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Syria) 5) when Libya and Iraq were still monarchies, they were relatively peacefull countries until they were deposed and succeeded by dictators and later civil wars

" All they have is oil " Though they still get most of their wealth from oil, they have started to diversify their economies. also, many republics have oil yet they still are not as rich. it does not matter what resources you have but how you use them

I don't want a completely republicanized world that would be horrible. I personally am in favor of the monarchical system and opposed to the republican one, especially the presidential republic, because it almost smells like an absolute republic aka dictatorship

@@hamzajabran6303 Historically monarchies have outlasted republics and they are generally more stable form of government. Also unlike popular media monarchy does not necessarily equal to dictatorship, a lot of monarchies are governed in the local level the King has little interference to local life. If anything it was the Republic and its eventual mismanagement that created dictators in the very idea of totalitarianism which is ironically named after a Greek politician that became all controlling after he was elected in a democracy/Republic.

Also it is worth noting that monarchies in most cases, sort of do the will of the people more so than republics believe it or not. And I'll give you a good example the 1965 Stellar act or Immigration Act was pushed on the American people even though the American people never voted for it let alone was completely against it but a democracy and a republic of freedom in the United States still pushed it down the American people's throat. The other problem with democracies and republics is the fact that you have Shadow governments that pop up, as in you have a lot of people doing lobbies to push their will over the people's will. Matter of fact the past eighty years in United States history voting hasn't really changed much on American policy the American policy has been being pushed where the people like it or not. You also have career politicians that been in control for all their life. At this point might as well have a monarchy at least you know who's in charge & the ones in charge are literally at least bred to lead.
