Jack, you need to listen to these people. How you 'feel' is a red herring. You might 'feel' great after a few shots of whisky, you might 'feel' good after having a candy bar a couple times a week, or you might 'feel' fine after eating fast food once or twice a day. If you keep doing it just because it feels good, then here comes the liver disease, or diabetes, or heart disease. Just because something feels good, doesn't mean you should keep doing it. A man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor Jack. See a nutritionist, do it the correct way.

At your weight you shouldn't be "plateauing" after one month unless you are massively going over your caloric intake.

@@donjuanmckenzie4897 says the laws of thermodynamics. At his size just by living he is probably burning 3000 calories a day. So if his calorie intake was 2000-2500 he would most likely not be plateauing yet.

@pjcgaming9548 to think the body is like a star, which simply gives off energy is absurd. The body has auto regulation mechanisms to attempt homeostasis, this is why plateaus happen.

Obviously you haven’t learned about the carnivore diet. It’s just meat. No vegetables or anything with sugar

This is a remake of the old Adkins diet. No fruits or veggies, no milk, only fats and meat and eggs and some fish Do not be giving advice if you do not know the diet. This diet allows no carbs and all veggies are carbs, some very low carb, but nonetheless carbs.

@@JamesHardy-yi1ph a resting BP of 147 is still bad though and if his readings go higher during the day, it’s just bad news if it’s continuous; especially since he had a previous stroke.

A carnivore diet isn't a sustainable diet, Jack. Your body won't let you live off of meat, cheese, and eggs alone for very long. Based on suggestions from my own doctor and kidney specialists, I stick to a cup of coffee with some creamer and sweetener, a slice of whole wheat toast with about a tbsp or two of cream cheese, and a serving of fruit for breakfast, for lunch I have two eggs (cooked whichever way I want), with about 3-4 ounces of lean meat and 1-2 sides of veggies. And for dinner, I have another 3-4 oz of a lean meat, with about half a plate of veggies, and I indulge in a little bit of rice or pasta on the side. No junk food, very little cheese, and most of the sodium I used to consume in my diet has been whittled down to about 1K mg a day. Every now and then, I'll enjoy a popsicle or a cookie for dessert. Since I started taking better care of my health a year ago, I've lost about 50 pounds. I hope you consider trying something more sustainable than a carnivore diet. It takes a bit of work to change one's lifestyle, but I guess hard work has to be put in to achieve fantastic results 😉
@donjuanmckenzie48978 ай бұрын
There's a lot of people who have done very well on the carnivore diet it does work. Y'all are just pathetic and ignorant people, lol. You ate and sat your way into terrible health and now think you can matically "cut back" and "count calories" your way out of it. It will take years of training and good eating for you to get a semblance of normalcy back. There is practically zero collagen in your diet btw
