The last two days have been perfect! The temperature in my upper floor has gone down an incredible 40F, from 125F at the end of last week to 85F Tuesday at 6:15 pm. I’ll sleep well at last tonight! I wish summer weather could always be like this, but I know these moderate temperatures can’t last until at least late October, more likely November. There’s not much temperature difference between July, August and September here, even sometimes May and October. But, at least the days are shortening now, so there will be significantly fewer hours of solar heat gain in a month or two.
