Love your videos! I lived and worked in Seoul as an English teacher for SMOE for 2 1/2 years and I miss Korea dearly. Your vids give me my daily fix of Korea and bring back some fond memories. I love how you take your time and it feels like I'm walking with you:) Some other videos of Seoul race through the city or have blaring soundtracks that aren't my cup of tea. Appreciate the time and effort you put in! Eddie from Vancouver

Wow, did this video bring back memories. Wifey and I use to visit Jongno two or three times each month. It was one of our favorite places to go and hang out. If everything goes as planned, we will be leaving the DC area late next month and returning to Korea For good. After watching this video, we have found at least three new places we want to try. Thanks for sharing. We really enjoyed seeing our old stomping ground.

I'm a new fan! You are doing an awesome job (and Marie) for making these stunning videos in and around Seoul, city of my birth, my Motherland. You make me want to go visit again soon! 공유 주셔서 감사합니다! (I am surprised however that you are able to walk around the city with an unconcealed, open can of booze. That's a no no in NY. Enjoy! :))

Btw, I watched some of your videos while I was on the treadmill. Of course I'm going much faster but it feels like I'm there walking the streets of Insadong with you guys. It's pretty awesome.

Nice! I had to go to work. Keep the Vids coming. People ask me what Korea is like and I can't explain it. I tell them you have to see it and experience it. I tell them to watch your Vids if they really are interested knowing. Oh I did go to Namdaemun to try and get a deal on some camera equipment. Unfortunately that didn't work out but all is good.

Hi Guys, I saw your excursion to Daejon yesterday for the wedding. I think the couple should have hired you to be their videographer. Duh, I should have known there would be underground camera shops but I didn't know. Also I wasn't prepared for the amount walking that you can end up doing while your there. If you find yourself in the underground can you do a quick vid of the camera stores? The way things are going I may be back there next year. Keep the vids coming. Its a shame I can't find any Cass bear here in Virginia.

Hi Cory May, why is it that most restaurants require a minimum of 2 orders per viand? Is it cost related? Thanks!

+Cory May - yeah sometimes it's rude especially if you're already hungry then they reject you with a loud voice which I think is "normal" :) haha! it's kind of sad too that some of our go to restos are already closed and Hara donuts just kept their branches in dept stores. =( recently we discovered a good resto on the 5th floor where McDonald's is in Myeongdong.. they serve Galbi.. really really good :) try it! nice to hear from you and thanks for sharing great videos!

I sat outside 보신각 bell one night at 4 AM in 2004 comforting my girlfriend after she had just gotten off work at a nearby bar (she was a bartender) in the alley behind the bell. One drunk male customer had lit a napkin on fire and threw it at her. Another had tried to negotiate with the manager to pay for sex with her (it's not that kind of bar). Anyway, every time I see that bell I remember her.
