The music Is pretty shitty as solo, It s more like a film s music: as a professional pianist i can Say there are 2 Major time of music: the ones that are pure beuty, and the ones that are good like background. Said that enaudi makes good music, but as background, if you try do a concerto based on enaudi s songs, the audience After 5 minutes Will get bored, becouse the music Is the same phrase wich Is repeated infinite time, If you try listen to classical music like liebestraum you can see that they are "similar", but the enaudi one is awfull in confront

@@kytsuro56 I have to disagree on that. Music is very heavily based on personal preference. In my case, I can listen to slow classical music, like Einaudis for hours, as background music, while I work, read or learn, or as music, that I can intensely focus on. I like and enjoy the human touch in it, if I listen closely and concentrated, I can hear all those minor imperfections, the slight variation in volume, in sound, the vibrato, that carried the musician away, carries me away with it. I can enjoy that for hours and find joy in closing my eyes and let the music speak and carry my mind with it. A Concert, based on that music, I could attend to for hours, no problem. But to be fair, it is not really concert music, it is music made for you, to hear, with a good set of headphones, closed eyes and an empty mind. What I personally don't like is classic classical music, Beethoven, Mozart and Liebestraum, that you mentioned. I can't hear that for a longer time, and I can't find joy in it, but that is my absolute personal preference. In fact, before I found Einaudi, I listened to no classical music at all, I could never enjoy it. Thinking it all is like beethoven or mozart. What I like about Einaudi and always liked is, that he never overstates, never tries to impress, or break up, by making a fast part for example. The whole Song is one slow dream, carrying my thoughts away. Melodies gripping into each other and creating a whole carpet of notes, complementing each other and building up this beautiful construct. Not throwing you out, not trying to get your attention, but weaving you in, more and more. I hear and play a lot of Rock music too, and my favorite musician is Slash. Similar idea, similar style, although completely different. But he also in his solos focuses on slow parts, melodic, carrying away solos, that can tear up emotion and carry meaning and a story with them. It is not, that he can't play fast, he has fast songs too, but he chooses to use that rarely and focus on telling a story, letting his emotions free and create a connection to his audience. For Example, my favorite Song from him is "Street Child", especially that second solo, just ripping through the air breaking all the tension and causing goosebumps. Or the End Solo of November Rain, boy that is raw emotion set free and flowing through his fingers. Or Gotten, that is really a beautiful song, he even put a chello in it, that brings a wonderful touch into the chorus. The first time I heared that chello, I was in love with this song, and now, what... 10 years later, I still am. Listened to it a thousand times and could listen to it a thousand times more. Just because this song is made so well, that there is always something to discover, something to enjoy, something to concentrate on and empty my mind. Sure, fast music can be awesome too, but it is a complete different taste in music. I hear a lot of Hardrock too, but just mostly when I make sports, or have to pump myself up. But Slash is the reason I picked up the guitar and Einaudi is the reason I started playing piano, because they touched something deep in my soul, burning themselves in forever and bringing out the desire to be able to transfer my emotions in this wonderful way too.
