I live in southeast broward county and I've noticed the same thing with my nam doc mai #4 tree. Some flowers would get powdery mildew, but it would not stop them from developing healthy fruit.

I think we have a similar situation in South Africa. Thanks a million. My fears are allayed!

HI,Im in Tampa and considering growing a few varieties,this being one of them, how did you treat this??
@TrulyTropical6 жыл бұрын
We are in the process of treating the entire grove with potassium bicarbonate (baking soda), but this particular plant we didn't treat. It still set a lot of fruit. Nam Doc Mai seems to be susceptible to powdery mildew, but it isn't as destructive as it is on many other varieties.

same issue in SoCal. One spray of baking soda solution takes care of those buggers for good.

do you use sodium bicarbonate or potassium bicarbonate?
@greenblood37086 жыл бұрын
Reguar A&H baking soda - which I believe is sodium b. Either of them should work.
