In Bismarck, ND we get a lot of snow here. I’m originally from Chicago so I’m used to cold weather. Yeah deer can be very unpredictable. They just fly out from anywhere.

Heated apparel would make a great Xmas gift for Jim. They make jackets, vests, socks, slippers, etc. that use batteries & are great! You can also buy an electric throw which plugs in & keeps u toasty warm. Just a thought!

Angie, in this part of Georgia right now, at 11pm, it's 51. Been only in the mid 50's all day since last Friday. I like to hear the coyotes singing at night. They used to walk through our yard in Massachusetts and I'd say hello to them. Stay warm up there.

We saw a big buck too. We were on the way home when he came barreling out of the woods. Told my husband to just stop as you never know if the missus and the children are right behind him. Luckily we saw him in time. This time of year have to be very careful in Nova Scotia especially around dusk.

Hello guys. Jim sweetie, tv is blaring loud, do you not want to wear your hearing aid for some reason? My father used to do the same thing, hard of hearing so Dr. gave him hearing aids but he just wouldn’t put them on, and every time someone would say something he’d automatically say huh, what just like Jim. Being hard of hearing is harder on those in our company than it is on the deaf one, always having to repeat what you say, loud tv and telephone conversations. So I finally convinced my dad to wear the hearing aids…..he wound up asking me to turn down the tv and he heard things that even I couldn’t hear, he could even hear whispering from a room away, it was amazing.
