I’ve been a silent watcher for a bit now but... Malin, thank you for being so honest and open with us... You’ve shed light on how I’m sure a lot of people feel, and honestly how I feel too. Your art brings me and others a lot of joy, and I hope you know you’re not alone. Thank you for everything.

I totally agree with you Malin! Lately I've been having trouble sleeping. Once I put my head on my pillow, anxiety starts to set in and I can't sleep. I agree with you when you talked about talking to your family or friends but they brush things off. I've felt like this for most of my life so the thought of not being like this doesn't seem possible. I hope you feel better! Your videos inspire me so much :) you're the reason why I started getting back into drawing and also the reason why I started having an interest in plants :)

I hope you know how strong and brave you are for putting your feelings out there. It can be very intimidating to do because you never know how people are going to respond. And if you've had bad experiences before, it is extra hard to do :( I can so so relate to feeling empty inside even though I know I am blessed in many ways and sometimes I feel guilty for not appreciating the things I have more... or why I can't just snap out of it and be happy. Thank you for this malin

Thank you for this very honest and heartwarming video❤ I just wanted to say that you are going through a lot right now! so it's very human to feel tired an exhausted and feel sad when we realize it means we don't have energy to do what we feel passionate about❤ with this I hope you can find some inner acceptance for yourself 🥰 it's NEVER fun when we find ourselves in a situation where we are forced to fight trying to find a place which judge us valuable enough to hire us. It can make us doubt ourselves and our own values. I want you to know that I see you as a valuable person and I hope you will keep believing in your own worth too❤ no matter what other people choose to do or say. The first step to get a more satisfying life is to know what it is that makes us sad and then take baby steps from there breaking the now known bad habit and remember to heal when life puts us on pressure🙏❤ sadly not all people are able to handle all the feelings we have within us, but it is my dream to find friends who accept and care for all my feelings and are not afraid to hold me and listen to me with an open heart even on bad days😌🌟 p.s. hoodie cat is so adorable. I would love to see him come alive as a sticker😍

Thank you for uploading even though you are feeling so exhausted. Lots of people have similar issues that you are experiencing. My mother, for instance, often gets so anxious about tests that she will even forget her name. I myself get anxiety attacks frequently where my face will tingle and I can't talk normal. It is uncomfortable, but I have noticed that these symptoms have come up less over the past few years, even with the trauma of loosing my father. Trying to be gentle with myself and rationalize my negative thoughts (that in bad times spiral continuously down) has helped. I will tell myself that it is normal to feel anxious in whatever situation that I am facing and let that emotion wash over me and leave, instead of fighting it. In the moment sudden distractions can help. I hope you find comfort in knowing you are not alone and that you find solutions that work for you.

I know I said I had problems w better help but definitely don't give up. It can take time to find the right therapist and medication ( if u currently take it/decide to take it, I do currently for both anxiety and depression, no shame), or even a few tries but it's so worth it. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 💖👍

Hi Malin! I just wanted to tell you that I hope you are doing okay and please know that you are not alone in those feelings. It's so easy to fall into the routines of negativity and self destruction where nothing feels like it's going right but I want to tell you that things are certainly not that way! I've struggled the past year finding meaning and balance in my life where I've felt like all my hard work has gotten me nowhere and telling myself that I am not good enough. But now, I've learn to always give myself positive encouragement and rewire myself to truly believe that I am more than what I see sometimes. It's a scary world of unknown we live in but I promise you that you are good enough and strong enough to fight that negativity because you are such an amazing person, inside and out! I personally have felt like it's been Groundhogs Day for the past year where I feel like I've been doing the same thing over and over, but what has helped me is honestly adding things in my life just for the enjoyment of it, like doing puzzles or playing board games with my boyfriend. Even cooking has helped me so much! Adding those little serotonin moments in your day to bring you joy can really help! I wish nothing but the best for you! Good luck with your job search and future! And thank you for putting yourself out there and showing others that they are not alone either!

This comment is rather late as only just having change to catch up with the last few of your vlogs, but just wanted to send a virtual hug❤️ I’ve watched your vlogs from the start, and always enjoyed them so much...though I don’t personally know you, you seem such a lovely person and it made me so sad seeing you struggle with mental health😞🥺 Anxiety and depression can easily make us feel empty no matter what we’re doing or whatever is going on around us, and it’s so hard when people around us don’t always understand. I’ve suffered myself with both throughout my life, and though I’m currently in a good place, you can never know when those feelings come knocking on your door, so I totally understand how you were feeling. I hope you are feeling much happier and less anxious since filming this vlog...just makes me feel so sad seeing someone down like this. Big hug 🤗❤️

Oh I understand...I been an artist all my life. Traditional and digital. I got very sick with a nerve disease had my first massive brain surgery. My 5 year old has cancer. So I started to design stickers and books and so much. All my life I was told I would be a starving artist and to keep that as a hobby. I won so many shows but still was told negative things. Well my husband said he wants to see me succeed with my dream of growing Veressa's Hope. I would love for my designs and art to fund my daughters fundraiser into a foundation to help other families with sick kids. My husband has gotten me the things I need to start test runs and idk today I was just very overwhelmed with someone making a shirt out of my design....then it hit me that what if no one likes my stuff....what if I fail if I fail I fail my sick daughter....what if her cancer comes back before I can open my shop....I had a complete panic attack. I'm working everything out in phases but still that fear is still there. 😑

It's hard to see the institutions don't follow the real rythm of life and are still based on a kind of elitist view of the artist, with fame, recognition and all. The practice is what define you. Not really much more x) I admire your strenght to go through this all! This sound quite nerve wracking indeed. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability; I hope you will find some ease, through any way you chose to experiment, and some understanding from people close to you to release even a tiny percent of the emptyness you feel
