Super excited for these! They've been my most anticipated toys since seeing them at DesignerCon! What they're gonna do with Mondo Gecko makes me insanely excited to see the big chonky villains! And I don't mind the limited articulation--I've actually kind of been wanting a line that leans more toward the simplicity of retro toys, but with modern size and shelf presence. Still detailed, but feel like big chunky dumb toys in your hand. Thus concludes my "Ode to Mondo TMNT". 😆

I grew up on the Turtles and Dai Kaiju Sofubi (Godzilla, Ultraman, and Gamera). This is my jam. I am in for the Turtle bros. I can't go all out on the line at $90 a shot. I would luv this line in 6in scale at half the price.

Those original ones are nice, but I think these have more to offer overall! At least in originality and style--these feel more quintessentially "Mondo". But it does make me wonder if they'd ever do another run on those first versions, since they have the license again. There were also unreleased prototypes for Casey, Shredder and Foot Soldiers, all with full soft goods.

@@AutomaTom1939 Now this is all my personal opinion. Also I pay attention to small details a lot mainly or sadly because of my disability. But I'm going to try to list all the issues or problems with New Jersey. I left almost 2 years ago but I do follow up on everything going on because I do have a few friends that still live there. 1. Tolls has gotten very expensive. All tolls Now start at $2.00 per toll and go up from there. If you go near North Jersey near NYC they are crazy in price. 2. More and more areas are starting to get bad. AC seems to be heading in the same direction as Newark or Camden. People only go to two casinos in that's the Hard Rock and the Borgata. Also to mention the AC airport is not getting as many flights in. Spirit Airlines said they're no longer going to go there starting in September. So if you want to go to the state your only option is a direct flight to one of the busiest airports near or in the state Philly or JFK. So that means it's very expensive an aggravating if you need to leave the state to visit family or so on. 3. People are moving out of New York City an Philadelphia and moving to New Jersey. This is something I was starting to notice as I was leaving the state especially when my father sold his house because somebody from Brooklyn bought the house next to us and somebody from North Jersey bought our house. This means that do people you have living in the state are very much different than what it used to be. 4. The traffic is getting a lot worse. If you knew New Jersey traffic has always been a problem or issue but it has gotten so bad that route 9 has became almost unusable. My father and I had to go back and speak to a lawyer that was a friend for reasons, and 1 put of town from Toms River to Jackson it took 45 minutes. I just looked that is 14 miles. 5. The housing is going up in my personal opinion way too much. This is also not to mention the property tax you have to pay in the state as well. Where me and my father used to live was one of the cheapest parts of New Jersey and he was paying almost $7,000 a year Pro property tax alone. 6. I just remembered this one another issue is that a lot of stores in New Jersey are starting to close. Why... personally I don't know I'm not 100% sure. But this is a problem because the only jobs in New Jersey now are State or Township jobs or a high-end skill job like a doctor or a dentist and so on in that area. So is becoming very hard for your low-end person to find a decent job now because a lot of places are starting to close or rethink business opportunities. But many places are closing. 7. Does kind of have to relate to #2 but I'm going to go into more details on another part. The only place is now worth living in in New Jersey are South Jersey. But if you go too close near AC it starts to get bad and "different". That's everything I can remember off the top of my head. But in short terms. It's the CA of the East Coast. Now yes the schools and the education there is good. Even though they didn't help me all that much. If you go to another state you do see a education difference with the kids. But that's the only positive and with all the negatives I think and feel it might be better to take your kid to a private school and also do some personal teaching as well. Because I live in NV now and I have to say the education level with the kids or younger people is very sad. Now I have Autism and that's coming from me. Yes my IQ is very high. But the difference is very shocking.... I was going to say something else but yeah I don't know what else I can really say lol. So yeah there are good States and bad States you just have to look into it and look over all the numbers and see if it's actually worth it. I do like the state that I'm in now there are some negatives. Only big negative I would say is that there is a big difference from the east coast and the West Coast. So to a point I can understand if somebody wants to move to a state that's kind of familiar to them. I keep to myself so friends aren't really a thing for me. But things are different here. Also it's hard to notice all of this stuff if you're only going to visit there for a few days or a week unless you're a person like me that heavily pays attention to everything. Because I was going to move to CO and quickly said NO

The first mondo turtles are better in my opinion. I have raph and leo. These guys remind me of the 2004 air jump Turtles. They look like they are designed more for children than adult collectors. They should have ended up at walmart by the fisher price rack.
