Mondo X Men Rogue Limited Edition Figure Review

Cool look at this figure. Too bad about the issues with the paint and extra head, but at least Mondo is good about sending out replacements and hopefully you’ll be able to make 2 Rogues now if they send a complete body replacement too! Similar stuff happened to me with my Mondo She-Ra where they packed the same head and had to send me the correct one and with my deluxe He-man where they sent over a whole new body which allowed me to make an extra He-man with all the extra parts!

yeah they were really quick to respond and resolve the issue. i was thinking to repaint the old body in jim lee style eventually. hopefully the replacement is good id love a storm a jean grey to add to the collection

Man one of your neutral heads were really messed up. It looks like the face is deformed even. But yeah Mondo responded really quick when I emailed them for replacements. I can’t wait to see what they look like. The factory dropped the ball on this one. So many issues compared to when I bought Jubilee. I was very much satisfied with the paint job on that figure compared to this one.

i found it's not deformed when i realized it's printed off center. so the round of the iris is on the lip of the eye making it look wavy. luckily it was just the wrong head in my case. my harley quinn is perfect. and the customer service was no issue so i still have faith in their product

Mondo is replacing the Neutral head sculpt on my Rogue, But little mad it keeps getting pushed back! First I was told they start shipping end June, beginning in July an my 2nd inquiry i was told end of July.

Did you report to Mondo about the the paint problems on the body as well ?

Not a «bad» looking figure though. Such a shame with all those issues. I actually really like this character, but I don’t like these type of bodies. I have a few of the Mondo MOTU figures and as much as I love those figures I really wish they were buildt on seamless bodies instead. This figure would have been so beautiful if it was buildt on a TBLeague body and had clothes made of fabrics. I don’t mind the sculpted hair as much, but I hate seeing these visible joints, and especially when I know that we now have seamless bodies. When I make a custom figure even when Im going to cover all the jointed parts with clothes, I still use a seamless body because the elbows and knees just looks so much better. At this point the hard plastic bodies should be a thing in the past with these figures, and posable eyes should be a standard with all head sculpts. But thats just my opinion though. I’d rather pay the extra money for a better figure, than get a figure and know that it could have been made far better.

i still struggle with seamless bodies because of durability. since this is animated i'm ok with the body because i don't think cloth would allow for posing. at least we have options these day. you need the right tool for the job 😂😂
