Your close up of the head sculpt has changed my mind of its quality. I think it's very good. The likeness is there and the expression is perfect. Could the beard have been longer? Yes, but then I'm sure Clint's beard was at various lengths during the films. Could the sculpt be better, more lifelike? Again yes, but there's no doubting who this. I also think they've nailed the physique and body proportions. My main gripe is the quality of the materials Sideshow used and the stingy accessories/uninspired base, some diecast weapons, spurs would have been nice, as would a fabric/removable hat. They are charging Hot Toys prices, but we're not getting Hot Toys quality and quantity. This will certainly do for now, though I do wish a hungry new company such as Kaustic or Inart gets to tackle the absolute legend that is Clint one day.

About the poncho. You know in your video how you left the stitching underneath the chin, well put the stitching over his shoulders like if it was a t-shirt. Then the poncho will fall infront of the figure. Now you know when you wear a tie and go to the toilet how you move the tie over your shoulder, do that with the poncho moving over the right shoulder falling to one side. I hope this helps.

In my opinion the sculpt is better than the customs I’ve seen. The paint is a little too faint though. That’s where the best customs have an edge. Still, I absolutely love this figure.

Just got mine today. I haven't opened mine yet but now seeing yours I'm pissed that the green side had the extra brown fabric so I cant display it with a green poncho or take the hat off 😡 but still will look goof next to the kustic plastic john wayne. good review 👍🏻

yeah i don't love having two colors visible but i got over it. the hat i would never remove anyway so i've always been ok with that but two heads would have took the sting off of the overall price

Just got mine yesterday, so that arrived a lot quicker than expected. Really debating on getting the Present Toys one. Looks really similar to Redman Toys, but the hat isn't perched on top of their head, plus you get the non-hat head. But as far as the Snake Toys one (so absurd w/all these "brand new" brands that are pretty much all the same company), that one looks like crap. I do believe you get the sack of gold with that one though. You just have to buy like four different versions to create the ultimate one...unless you're fast enough to get the loose parts off Toy Anxiety before selling out.

no it's fixed in place. the lips are sculpted around it so a second head would be needed

It’s a great figure…. I just got mine a few days ago. My only complaint is not having a removable hat and I wish the serape poncho was made of that specific material instead of silk…

i agree on the poncho. but i think if the material was closer it would be too heavy / stiff. i like what they used but it's too shiny.

it was attached but i removed it for the plastic wrap and to put the poncho. wanted to be able to show every angle for those on the fence. which my neck peg was dangling loose. it's fine when it's connected to the neck but i think the ball that goes into the head is a bit too small.

I know I'm spamming the comments lol, but at least it helps out your channel. Guess I forgot about the close-ups from Sideshow, but didn't know the boots are a fabric/plastic combo. Just doesn't blend in in the slightest. It's great we finally get a poncho where we don't have to cut an inch off of the super long strings, but the patterning is supposed to be pretty much white. It's like the only way to get one like that is the original Redman Toys release...but that poncho isn't double-sided. It's like it's just not in the cards to get a definitive Blondie...same with Indy.

yeah i'm still on the hunt for my own perfect indy. this blondie does it for me. i wouldn't change it. only add to it. maybe a dip base or horse.

@@TOOMANYFIGURES Yeah man, there's so many options for 1/6 horses now, just sucks that most of them are oriental based. We need at least a couple that are kitted out with the old west look. I've had that re-release of the present toys Indy on pre-order for quite a while, and noticed the other week it's been out, but not gonna cancel my order since there's the non-refundable deposit. I have the Hot Toys one, so probably just stick one of the heads on that one to make the best version. I really wish a company could make a great Rocketeer. That one that recently came out has a ginormous helmet, so just sticking with my old Medicom one. And what's up with literally no one making a Warren Beatty Dick Tracy?? Them, Rocketeer, RoboCop, and Keaton Batman are quartet of most amazing characters from that time period.

I'm sure there's a scene or two in the movie where Clint's relatively freshly shaved, but overall, he has a beard. Wondering why Sideshow went so light on the facial hair. And one thing I had no idea about is the cigar is glued into place. Guess that shouldn't be a surprise since all the solicitation pics showed it in the mouth. Just odd with the Redman Toys ones (and various other cigar wielding figures) have the option to wedge it in between the lips via friction.

@@Chalor. The figure is Abit " light" beard wise, but I have this figure and it looks great...the only thing I don't understand is, the Mexican " blanket" in pictures looks like it's made of cloth and it's not, it's almost a "silky" nylon feel.

Yeah, that might very well be the case. So you got the Snake Toys version that is apparently another code name for Redman toys (like Dark Toys), cause it's verbatim the same head. So it's nice the Present Toys one doesn't have the hat glued on to where it's perched on top of their quaffed hair. It's like it's the same sculpt as well, but smushed. Definitely has way more detailing and realism compared to Sideshow's softness (but what company _doesn't_ do better human heads than them?), just not sure about the horizontally stretched look.

Head sculpt not good, looks more like Anthony Zerbe than Clint. Bad job by Sideshow but the Dirty Harry, Palerider and Josey Wales are spot on.

Big Clint fan here, the face sculpture is off. Would have also liked the poncho to be of a more rough cloth material and reversible for the 2 different shades. Some missed opportunities here which is such a shame considering the amount of overall effort that's gone into it.
